Our desktop HP computer started to shut down and then come back periodically. Most unusual. I thought it might be a graphics card issue, only to realize the computer had imbedded graphics in the processor (no separate card).I took it to MDC Computers for an evaluation. After three days of stress testing, they discovered a faulty cable between the processor and motherboard. They also updated any corrupt things and made sure we had all the most recent updates.I brought it home and it worked - for a while. Then it started happening again. They then suggested I bring on the computer and monitor to see if there was any problem with the monitor.Bottom line: my HDMI cable from the computer to the monitor was bad. I bought a new cable from them and it now works perfectly again.I appreciate their troubleshooting and determination to fix what was going on. The price they charged for the work they did was very reasonable. I highly recommend them.

I've had to take my computer to these guys twice for virus removal. They're always friendly, knowledgeable, and fast. How fast? Both times, they were a day early on their already speedy estimate of job completion. Not only that, they caught the different problems I was having without me really having to explain. Did I mention they were friendly? I was expecting everyone to act like the IT guy at my work, that is, an insufferable, human-shaped pile of jerk. Not these fellas, they are nice as can be. I've never been to any other place, so I can't compare price, but even if they are 20 bucks higher than everyone else, I'll keep coming back for the fast, expert, and friendly service.

I had new issues with the software upgrade from W10 to W11and took my tower to MDC to have them run diagnostics to determine what could be done. After they completed their analysis, they recommended it was time to consider replacing my tower which was over 10 years old and had been upgraded once with a new motherboard, processor and ram. They recommended going to a clean install of W11. After looking at my options, I decided to have them build a computer for me using a recently installed SSD from my old tower and a new one to replace an old 1TB mechanical. I had them install a clean version of W11 Pro and Word. When I brought it home, it fired up and was immediately usable. The transfer of my programs/files was complete. I did have to re-download a few proprietary apps from the MS store which gave me the latest versions. My thanks to Danny, Reese and Drew for a job well done. They also handled a few questions I had over the phone and with AnyDesk remotely.

These guys will swindle anyone who doesn't know about computers. PC built in 2020 and given to me for Christmas. Ever since I've received it, it's been rebooting randomly, sometimes without running any graphic intensive games or intense programs(It'll happen while running Firefox and Spotify.). Brought in the PC multiple times over the span of the warranty, got told that nothing was wrong and that it was dusted. This happened multiple times: PC reboots, take it into MDC, nothing is fixed. 5 years pass, and during these 5 years I am under the impression it is a faulty power supply. Warranty is long gone, and so finally I decide to check the temperatures (Which, admittedly, is what I should've done first.). Find that my processor is consistently at max temperatures without running anything graphics intensive. Took PC to Best Buy's Geek Squad, get told its an overheating issue. Within 20 minutes. I went to MDC today, got mad that they wouldn't fix the problem that had been happening while it was under warranty, and then left. I got a call from the owner, said he'd fix the issue as long as its a hardware issue, and it'd be free. I'll update this review when I receive my PC again.UPDATE 2/13/25Received my PC about 3 days after I had posted the review. Since then, I've had no issues running any games. It seems like they installed a new cooler and a new top fan, and it runs smoothly. They even upgraded it to Windows 11. I'm happy they fixed the PC, but not so happy it took this long. Review updated from 1 star to 3, I still recommend doing your research on computer places.

I had cooling issues with with a Lenovo Yoga 2020 model. These guys rocked it! My experience was excellent. Lucky provided me an estimate at drop off, and told me they would check things out and notify me once they found parts, and I could authorized the work. 48 hours later I was called by MDC and they proceeded to tell me what was exactly wrong with my computer. They then quoted me a different price, which was actually lower than the original quote. I then proceeded to allow them to perform the work. I had my computer back in less than a week, and it's running exceptional! This business is ethical, reputable , and provides exceptional service! I've used these guys for awhile now. I've never been disappointed and recommend them to anyone asking for computer issue help. Yesterday I called and they were able to log into my computer and help me fix something that I had messed up. He answered all my silly questions and fixed my error in about 15 minutes. It was great not having to take it in to their shop. These guys are always so professional, polite and friendly. I highly recommend them to anyone needing their services.

Excellent, honest techs. Very knowledgeable, and helpful.They had to "hunt" for a replacement battery, for my "vintage" laptop, and replaced the battery when I was near their location. I wish I had the words to describe how good they are. Over the years with various computers, we have taken them to MDC fro repair or upgrades. They do the work quickly, correctly and affordably. After we became disenchanted buying computers from QVC and stores, they sold us a refurbished PC with just what I needed. It worked so well and so fast for my wife, that I went down last week and purchased one myself. Love it. So very grateful that they are here in town and do what they do. We depend on them
