Wow, what amazing service! Dr. McMahon and his staff are incredibly helpful and very professional. I am extremely near sighted, and wear mono contact lenses, so when my former optometrist retired from Envision Optics, they told me that they no longer could care for me as a patient. I was fortunate enough to find that Eye World specializes in complex prescriptions, and they accepted my insurance. I'll most certainly will be bringing my daughter and husband here for their eye exams. Recommended! 5/5.

Love this location seriously. So since I'm a newly minted member of the glasses club, I legit forgot I was wearing them when I passed out on my bed not too long ago. Not sure if y'all knew this but if you roll over in bed and your glasses are there, they'll snap in half and aren't indestructible.I'm in town for the holidays so I made it a point to actually swing by and do a walk-in appointment. They're not open on the weekends but that's fair.I checked-in and waited for about five minutes. They were able to process my warranty claim and got me into some new glasses within thirty minutes, as well as, providing me my exact prescription! So happy this is why my eye journey started (aside from failing my drivers test back in June due to visual impairments lol)

I had an appointment at 2:30 and I waited for almost 30 minutes past my appointment time. The ladies in the front we not rude but I do remember thinking that they are stacking appointments. The doctor was very thorough and I had a wide selection and of glasses to choose from. That was nice and I picked up my new frame like the next day. That was a plus and my insurance was fully accepted. My frame was a designer fram so I came out of pocket a little bit. That's okay to me. I will bump them up when they get a little better with the moving people along process. Other wise I would recommend this place. PROS; great selection. Nice staff and a very Doctor. coNs you will be waiting a while.

For glasses and contacts, dr. Mcmahon will do but if you have a medical condition/infection of the eye you need to go to an OPTHAMOLOGIST; McMahon is an OPTOMETRIST. Your insurance won't cover you. Office staff is confused about this small detail in their office policy over the phone and will demand you pay your full deductible before the doctor will see you once you are there! But it's ok, they say, because you will get reimbursed the difference in 30 days for a $25 consult. For me this would be $225 in a month! Ridiculous! Medical condition of the eye? Go to a real doctor! Knowing this up front would have saved me a lot of time and pain to get treatment! Thanks for nothing Eye World.

They are fairly quick in relation to your appointment time. I just shop for my glasses while waiting and that eats up the time pretty quickly. The staff and doctor have been nothing but professional and friendly the two times I have been there. There is a small snag as it is taking much longer to get my glasses than promised or anticipated, but I'm not certain if that is an issue with the doctor or the lab. Either way, I recommend giving them a chance. They took my insurance and I was able to use my FSA.

1 STAR for Service at the front desk - More STARS for the DR.The Dr and others in the back are terrific..........but the ones out front shouldn't be! There is no help with choosing frames and I wouldn't trust them anyway! I was told my glasses would take 1 week, but took 4 weeks. When I picked them up, the woman said try them on. I said don't you have to adjust them? She said "is there something wrong with them?" There was a male employee at the front counter on his cell phone, ranting about his wife/girlfriend - very professional! The glasses were crooked, so I had them adjusted at Costco - where I will buy any other glasses that I need. I have worn glasses since I was 26 years old (70 now) and never had an experience like this. Have purchased glasses in MN, WA, GA, without problems. Why would the Dr employ such unprofessional people?????????????

The Doctor is great and most of the staff are courteous and professional. I did not wait long for my appointment and there is a good selection of eyeglasses. Now....the reason I gave the establishment three stars is the service (or lack there of...) I received from a woman, Anita, at the front desk. This lady was extremely rude and unprofessional both times I was there. She seems very unhappy with her job and made me feel unwelcome, almost as a burden. This woman should NOT be working the front desk!!
