Ya'll, I get it, I totally get it.I'll admit, I was a skeptic. Tacos at an arcade? Inside Adventure Zone no less? Why are so many people raving about them? Because they're good, ya'll.The last time I was at Adventure Zone, I was less than impressed (but I didn't try McCrory's Tacos so perhaps I would've enjoyed myself more if I had). But when we walked in and stepped up to the counter we were immediately greeted by Aaron and he gave us the low-down on McCrory's. As far as I can tell, the McCrory's cashiers and waitresses are interchangeable with the Adventure Zone staff, but I think management made a great decision by putting Aaron right at the front as soon as you walk in. That short conversation that my husband and I had with him left me wanting to give Adventure Zone as a whole another shot (and we did). He was friendly, he made great recommendations, and he even let us know that what we were ordering individually could be ordered as a plate instead which would come with some sides as well.We both ended up on the taco plate which consists of three tacos, beans, rice, a handful of chips, and some salsa. The beans and rice reminded me of going to one of my friend's houses in high school where there was always a pot of beans and some rice at the ready at any time of the day. Homemade tasting, nothing dried out at McCrory's... good old El Paso comfort food. The chips and salsa were good too, but I came for the tacos and man were they good! The tortillas are just crisp enough and they're loaded! Meat and potato (and I think it might've had just a pinch of green chile, but don't quote me on that... I ate them too fast to be certain) with cheese, lettuce, and tomatoes! Yummmm! They were so good!I always say the best Mexican food in El Paso is in the Northeast, but McCrory's put the Westside back on the map for me. So delicious and the price wasn't bad either, we paid less than $20 for two taco plates and drinks (individual tacos are under $1.50 a piece everyday, but they also have $1 taco days). Giving them a shot led me to giving Adventure Zone another shot and altogether we spend less than $30 for dinner and some fun. Either way it's a great spot for some eats regardless of your plans to stay after.

I went yesterday for their tacos and was so disappointed. Seems like the recipe has been changed. The tortillas were different. The seasoning was not the same. The salsa was very tomato-ey. I used to love coming here just for the crunchy tacos. But not anymore. I was flat out disappointed.

Amazing! I first ate these Tacos when Mc Crory's was located in a little pharmacy across from Providence Hospital. It was set up as a old fashioned soda bar and you could sit at the counter and eat. I was a nursing student at the time and it was recommended by one of the nurses I was following. Wow!!! The tacos were/are amazing. I was super sad when that location closed as the atmosphere was one of a kind. However when I leaned Mc Crory's tacos were at Adventure zone I was thrilled. We often take advantage of the Taco Tuesday special. The tacos are amazing the salsa is perfect and plenty of lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese. I highly recommend checking it out. Call ahead and pick it up on the way home. And of course order extra salsa for later!

My most favorite tacos in El Paso! Also the nachos are amazing, but would be better with more cheese and fewer chips. I love this place so much

Sorry, native El Paso residents but...El Paso sucks. After a week of greasy, crappy food and my lovely view of the empty dirt field from my hotel room, I really didn't see any salvation for my week long business trip. On the last day of my trip, the locals from my company kept talking about "going to Adventure Zone for lunch." ????Intrigued, I asked if I could go with them to see what the fuss was all about. We walked in and I was still skeptical since we were walking into a Game Center that looked like it was built in 1980...and was never updated since. These tacos had to amazing for this kind of ambiance.OMG. These tacos are so freakin' good! I understand what all the fuss is about now. super cheap at a dollar a taco, and I could seriously eat five in one seating. Tortillas are soft with crispy edges and are filled with a delicious mix of meat, potato, spices, lettuce, tomatoes and cheese. I have to come back for two weeks this month...I have a feeling I will be eating here everyday for lunch. El Paso, officially redeemed.

These tacos are so good and you can't beat the price. For my 32nd birthday I just made all my friends meet here and we stuffed our face with tacos (pack of 20 is $19), had a couple of beers, and hit some games. It's totally worth checking this place out.

I come here at lunch for the TACOS! Hot, fresh, and only $1 each. Doesn't matter the day or time. What a deal and they taste so good. Recommended for a good lunch or dinner. The place can get packed and loud on the weekends, so I only go during the week. The place is inside Adventure Zone, and boast over 1 Million Sold. As good as they are, I believe it. Taco she'll is light and crispy. It's filled with plenty of meat/potato with fresh lettuce, chesse, and tomato. Also comes with a side of salsa, not very hot and also very tasty. If you haven't been here, you need to come!

McCrory's is located inside Adventure Zone, and offer yummy tacos at a great price. We often order tacos by the dozen for takeout and everyone likes them. Although, I have to admit, their tastier if you eat them on site as they can get a little soggy by the time you get them home and served. The taco shells are lightly fried (not really crispy, and not really soft) and stuffed with a well seasoned beef and potato mixture, then topped with lettuce, tomatoes, and cheese and served with a very good house salsa. It's a great way to feed a large group or have good, inexpensive meal.

Great tacos here on Taco Tuesday . Simple satisfying and great service. Nice and attentive goes along way. There were several to go orders on the counter for pick -up. We had our food and beer dine in.
