McAlister's Deli

This is the second time that I have visited this establishment. I was giving them the benefit of the doubt as the first time we visited the food was burned and did not taste good. Again, the sandwich came out burned and hard as a rock. It was not edible. There was also mold in my daughter's fruit bowl. The service was once again very slow. There seems to be only two people working. The same thing occurred the last time we came. There was also a lot of flies in the store. I will not be returning to this location.

This is a great New York type Deli concept with some great Clyb Sandwiches like The McAllister with smoke Turkey, Black Forest and Ham, Bacon. The Grilked Club Chicken. Some choices of wraps and salads. The service is dedicated and friendly, and the Assistant Manager Keyla and Lesly were really accommodating and super helpful preparing the catering box for the Radford High Q teams. The decor is very modern and welcoming with a community table and some faux marble tables. A high-end look with a comfortable atmosphere. There is definitely a lot to love here!!!

Short staffed. People started asking for refunds because they had been waiting for over 30 minutes for their food. You would think on a Friday night they would have people to work the rush. Disappointing.

It was Sunday evening around 7 ish and not one customer in the restaurant. Walked up to the counter to place an order. We weren't sure what to order when a young kid employee( Gabriel) finally walked up to the register to see what we wanted to order with a face of bother. He was just miserable and made faces when I changed my mind on an item. He took my payment without words being spoken gave me my receipt with a number . He brought the food out and just put it in front of me without saying a word . No manners what so ever . I am sick and tired of getting poor service in restaurants. I am paying with my hard earned money and expect a place of business to treat people with respect . Enough already.

I have been here 3 times. Everytime I have went all the people working were so pleasant and nice. The food was great and the restaurant was very clean! Highly recommend this place!
