I came here to vote, and the volunteers do a very good job of running the site. It's very clean, and they check you I promptly and you are out just as fast. I always early vote at Marty Robbins Recreational Center. It beats driving downtown to the courthouse! Lol

I grew up coming to Marty Robbins Park back in the 90's. I remember coming to the pool with my friends and playing on the swings. I was always waiting for the ice cream man, too! I remember running and walking here. It's close to my parent's house. It looks pretty much the same but... they remodeled the pool and recreation center in recent years. They also added the splash pad. I brought my son to it pretty often. Unfortunately, I think parts of the park were or are closed at this time due to Covid-19.I know the recreation center is open because I came to vote here the other day. I was the only person that went to vote at that time. Not much else to say about this park...Well it was named after the singer that sang "El Paso." The song won a Grammy back in 1959. Here's the song in case you're interested. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zWm5WErkffQ What do you think of it?

Marty Robbins is one of my favorite parks in El Paso! The park is huge, there's plenty of room for football and soccer games, there's also a baseball diamond, basketball courts, and a rec center with a public pool. The park is also well maintained, sadly there will always be cholos loitering and leaving broken bottles at night if you come in the mornings, but I think they clean everyday. The neighborhood isn't bad, so I feel its a safe park.

These people are rude and unprofessional! Called the number on their site which apparently is the register...the lady answered and didn't know what the pool hours were or anything just started to give me some number to call..I told her twice hold on I need to grab a pen! Finally she waited and I got the number. It kept ringing and someone picked it up and hung up on me! I clef right back and the line was busy. Seriously!? Get it together!!!!!!!!!

Marty Robbins is overall a nice park with good facilities. I use to take my dog here until he was jumped by another dog there. I now use Reese McCord park on Trawood and one of the reasons I do that is I can park at a curb. My dog is 13 so lessening his jump into and out of the car is kind of important.

I'm complaining about the swimming pool staff. Walked in to the male receptionist, head down on the desk talking on the phone. Two other tweens sitting in the back chit chatting, paying us, my wife and daughter, no mind. My wife got agitated, asked the two chit-chating if they do anything to help, just ignored us. We placed the five dollars for entrance on the counter and walked Into the pool. Only gave two stars bc my daughter loved the water slide.

Pool chemicals are consistently unbalanced and too strong. The most recent visit, life guards had to call maintenence workers an hour into rec swim to come out to service the chemicals. Life guards refused to provide vouchers despite having to "close" the pool for maintenence. Don't swim here, find another pool.
