I like this place for many reasons. I remember this restaurant business during its humble beginnings as a small family run home-cooked Mexican food place off of Giles & Carolina streets when I was a child in the early 70's. After moving back to El Paso in 2014, I saw 2 well established locations and a regular daily patronage of customs including my parents who ate there 3-4 times weekly. When I started taking my parents on a more regular basis, it struck me that the environment was a true meeting place of our community- local employees whether white or blue collar for lunch, many retired couples (like my parents), young, old, diverse and everyone in-between. It made me feel home again and reacquainted with my roots and upbringing. The food was unique to the city, and the service team seemed happy and well connected to their customers. I like trying new and innovative menus as El Paso adds to their growing number of eateries, but always having a place to go for true comfort food that represents a heritage and history of El Paso makes me glad to be home after a long career away....The food is great!!!

My wife and I had breakfast at the Buckner location. We waited about ten minutes for a table. We both ordered the Huevos Rancheros. They serve theirs with your choice of a bacon or sausage. She asked for the bacon and really liked it. I ordered mine with sausage and it was very good. Service was excellent and food was out quickly. Their salsa is great. Meal was really tasty. Four stars as one of my over easy eggs was served broken and over hard. My wife's were perfect. Nice atmosphere.

We tried this for the first time after a recommendation. Our lunch was delicious! This was a kid friendly restaurant but great atmosphere. We'll be back for sure!

Much different than the Carolina location. Huevos rancheros were trash! Not one good thing on the plate. Beans were watery and bland, ranchero sauce tasted like unseasoned canned tomatoes, and the hash browns and bacon were soggy and undercooked! One of the worst rancheros I've ever had the misfortune of eating. Left half the plate.

The lunch special- what can be better than a nice lunch at a great price? A gal pound took me here for lunch because I was going to have dental surgery the following day and she laughingly said well you don't know when you're gonna eat something really good for a while so let's go for it today. We are laughing about it today because it was so prophetic! We had a great lunch of Chicken Moley that was wonderfully prepared- I can still taste it.

The pancakes have a homemade taste and came with some crispy hash browns that didn't taste bad themselves either, while the egg whites were what you would expect them to be. The food isn't bad but I felt it didn't stand out a lot either. Although coming from an early meeting every single one of those elements hit the spot. The service was good and attentive. The parking lot is spacious so if you're going in with hunger knocking loudly on your door it won't take you much to have your car parked and yourself through the entrance. You pay at the end of your meal by walking towards the exit. The tortillas are freshly made there too and you can see it.Don't get me wrong, overall the food was good so if you want to give it a try it is definitely worth it. You can ask for special request on the preparation of your eggs and the ambiance was chill. The name doesn't strike me as a type of Mexican cuisine but that's besides the point. Just a curious note in case you drive pass and read the sing and crave some Mexican food. Provecho!

Food is just bland no taste . It's just one of those that has been supported by the locals for years . More of just part of the community-committed to just feeling right to support.

we were completely abandoned by our waitress. After waiting for the waitress to return, about 40 minutes, we asked the cashier if we had been forgotten about. the cashier finally brought our food out, lukewarm. Never saw or original waitress again. Totally unprofessional.long wait for crappy foodNEVER AGAIN!!!

One of the best Mexican restaurant in ElPaso Texas, all dishes are delicious and priced reasonably. Their menudo is one of the best in town and any other plate you order. There staff is very nice and it's a local family owned and one of them is always there. Always packed and the wait is worth it.
