I didn't know of this small market until recently. It's inside the Magic Bistro restaurant. My mom asked me for a favor so I happily obliged. I came to get a going away gift for her co-worker. My mom specifically wanted a trivet. A trivet is used under a hot plate while serving food. It prevents the table from getting any damage due to the heat from the hot plate. This trivet is made out of ceramic or porcelain. I didn't even know what it really was until I looked it up. Lol. I did but I didn't know that was the proper name for it. My mom requested a specific trivet. This one has a photo of the star on the mountain here in El Paso. People say whenever you see the star on the mountain, you know you're home :) I have to agree with that. There is no place like home or El Paso. It's a very unique place. Anyway...This market sells items like homemade soaps, chapstick, home decor, art and more. The trivet was $18 plus tax. Proceeds go toward the 8-3 shooting victims. A local photographer sells these items, along with more of her art and photography. I wouldn't mind having a meal at the bistro sometime. The staff from the bistro were very nice and polite. The customer service at the market place could've been a little bit better. The two women there were helpful but not entirely friendly. Overall an ok transaction.
