Mama's Mexican Resturant

The food is A-MAY-ZING. I liked it so much I brought my family back the next day lol. Try the best of both worlds enchiladas with the chipotle sauce and the poblano/tomatillo sauce. You won't be disappointed! The service is friendly, you order at the table and pay at the register. The restaurant is very clean and colorful. Can't wait to return and try some new food!

Came here after it was recommended. Mad I don't live here to come back again! Would absolutely come back anytime I'm in El Paso.

What a fabulous gem! Stopped in for a late lunch, and would absolutely recommend and return if I am in the area. This is in a small shopping center near Dollar Tree, facing Lee Trevino. Colorful wooden tables and chairs throughout this on theme decorated restaurant. Seat yourself and be greeted with chips and salsa and a cup of creamy Mexican soup. Food is freshly made, and not greasy (a personal pet peeve). I ordered the green enchiladas with chicken and cheese mix. Beans and rice taste fresh and homemade. Soda, tea, and lemonade are best bets for drinks. I don't see beer or wine in the menu. Atmosphere and staff are friendly.

This place gets busy for lunch but they do have plenty of seating. I had the chicken enchiladas with green sauce- it was fantastic- the chicken filling was cooked perfect and there was plenty of it. The green sauce had a little kick but this gringa was able to handle it. There were interesting things to look at everywhere- the art work on the walls was culturally beautiful. Great service, great food and great prices.

I have been wanting to try these soupy tacos for a while now and finally found the time to head over. The place is smallish but comfortable and we were able to sit right away. They close at 3pm right now because of staff shortage according to the sign in front. I have to say, whatever they do to1 the tostada chips...omg keep doing it! Crunchy isn't crunchy enough of a word! I opted for the creamy soupy tacos and the spouse did the original soupy tacos. I loved mine. They were very flavorful and the "soup" was yummy by itself. Spouse liked his too but made the mistake of tasting mine and that ruined it for him! We'll be back to try the red enchiladas soon.

When you eat at Mama's, please don't come on Yelp and tell people how awesome it is. Let it be our secret. As it is, they are near capacity at lunch and we still want to be able to get a table. Imagine if you were a great cook, with a Mama who was the best cook anyone ever met, you had her recipes and unwavering demand for quality. Then imagine you're real smart and know how to work hard, and how to keep your team working hard but friendly with all your visitors. If you had all that going for you, you would open a place like Mama's and if you were real lucky and work hard, you might be half as good as Mama's.

Everything is delicious, but the rolled tacos are 10/10! Always hot food and good service.

Amazing service, food is always always on point, pricing is excellent and great quality. My only reluctancy in giving 5 stars is..... I don't want yall to take my table! Cause we come back again and again!

Went in felt like we were in the Bermuda Triangle they would just walk on by but not sit us or even talk to us very rude

Delicious food!! Taste like home made best food in El Paso. Love going there. They truly care for their customers. Great four and customer service!
