It's cool but not all that. It's good for the weekend and to go somewhere with a lot of normal people, not cheap , not expensive.

If I could l leave Zero stars I would. It's always a pleasure walking into a flooded entrance area from the water pouring from the water installation. If you don't manage to drown, you are instantly yelled at by what appears is the hostess. They opt out from a simple friendly greeting and yell at you saying that, "all the tables are reserved for Bottle service!!!" On top of that horrible start, they do not have simple drink options that every bar should offer at this point "high noon and miller lite". Management needs to step it up because this place needs some desperate change. Jon Taffer from bar rescue where you at?

Malolam is a bright and colorful spot in the Montecillo Apartment area. I went with my friend who had come into town for the weekend. I got the carne asada tacos with the corn and my girlfriend got the Malolam Tacos with the corn.The main thing I have to say is that the tacos were definitely good, but no way were they worth $6 each. Our server was very confused as well, not giving us a single menu the entire time stating that they didn't have any and didn't mention the prices of the tacos he recommended.I will probably be back again, but I am going to need them to either lower their prices or have way better service next time for my review to change.

Taco Tuesday is the day to stop by Cantina Malolam. I came with my boyfriend earlier this year to try their $1 tacos!We tried a bunch of different tacos, but my favorites were the coconut shrimp & pork belly. Even though they were small, I was so surprised at the strong flavors and the amount of meat included in each one! I also ordered a margarita, which was fairly average.My only complaint was the noise level - I know this is a bar, but it was to the point that we couldn't hear each other at all without yelling. We moved tables to try & find a slightly quieter spot, but it didn't work. I think we would have stayed a bit longer if we could've chatted here. Overall, Taco Tuesday was a good experience!

This place has a good atmosphere, good service but the food just wasn't there for me. I ordered the beer battered fish tacos and after 20 minutes was told they didn't have em, thats fine, opted for the brisket tacos. Meat was tender and juicy but lacked any flavor then was over powered by cilantro and onions. Also got the dorinachos. White queso, carnitas, lettuce and avocado. That was pretty good. The bartender made some really good bloody mary's and mezcal mule's. I'll give this place another shot b it first impression was mediocre for me.

Great hangout spot on weekends. Can't beat the $2 Tecate and Tecate Light 12 oz cans all day, every day. Also great for brunch. $7 pozole and $1 bloody Marys.The service is very attentive, the ambiance is chic and the music selection is great. I highly recommend this place.

Dirty place, horrible music And poor customer service. The only good thing its the food.

Their rules they come up with every time I go there is ridiculous I guess they don't have other things to do. Couldn't go in because they don't allow hats there.

On may 5th, 2022 (i payed a $10 cover)I tried using their restroom & without reason their security assaulted me with a punch to the face making my $500 Carrera seeing glasses drop to the floor. When I was gonna look for them on the floor the security already had me in a chokehold. I got choked, & kicked unfairly. After 5 surgeries to my head this is unacceptable. Still having problems in my knee to this day.I have no clue how this atrocious establishment is still open.
