Seat yourself upon arrival. We both got the plate with eggs, one meat of choice, potatoes and with either a biscuit or toast. For some reason they put a piece of sausage on my plate even though it only comes with either bacon or sausage. Eggs were scrambled and well done, the potatoes had good flavor but some pieces weren't quite cooked all the way. Ordered the oatmeal for our toddler which was supposed to have come with toast but it never made it to our table. Overall average food, not bad for the price. It stayed busy the whole time we were there.

This is a hometown diner in the cute town of Alpine Texas. They serve breakfast and lunch. We stopped in for breakfast- The menu has the regular fare, with a Tex-Mex twist. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, pancakes - but also breakfast burritos. Service is fast and friendly. Laid back cowboys fill the cafe with friendly banter. Stop in for a bite- you will enjoy it.

This place had such a great breakfast. We were on our way back from Big Bend national Park and stopped by here and the weather was crappy and rainy and the service was great! The food was good and I love that this is a family owned restaurant and the coffee mugs were totally random and we really enjoyed our meal here .

It in fact was the place and I found it sitting in the Mcdonald's parking lot across the street looking at Yelp.No explanation is needed.Great Food, Atmosphere, Prices, service, and a vanishing Decor......Go!!!

Worth stopping by after going to Davis Mountain State Park . Best burgers ever! Huge drinks and good service !

Their burgers are plump and juicy and large enough to share. If you order the plate it comes with home fries that are delicious and service with with a smile. it was jampacked crammed busy and yet the service was promp and food was hot. The servers back each other up and always came with smiles and very positive attitudes. For breakfast, Pat had a short stack of pancakes. Two delicious full-plate cakes were so much, she got a To-go box. My Huebos Rancheros were likewise plentiful. Cheese-topped over-easy eggs on refried beans atop two tortillas, with a delicious red sauce, challenge the biggest appetite. When in Alpine, this is a must stop for either breakfast or lunch or both.AND we saved a generous amount by paying with cash!!!

MaGoos never disappoints! loyal customer here! I always get the bacon cheeseburger, you can definitely taste the love in every bite!

A family friend invited us to this restaurant almost a year ago and the food was the bomb! I ordered brunch which was scrambled eggs with tortillas and it was so good! The atmosphere was friendly and it was a real pleasure dining at that restaurant that I am willing to dine there again in the near future! Thank you Elva for inviting us to brunch that day!

Quick and friendly service! My husband and I stopped for a quick meal passing through Alpine and were there a total of 25 minutes.

Went their before our daughters visit to Sul Ross, what a great hidden gem. The burgers were big and flavorful, the fresh cut fries were great! Now that she will be attending SRSU, we will be back!
