Mad Mule Coffee Co

I love coffee, and love finding independent coffee shops as I travel. Mad Mule makes me want to return to Benson! Great coffee - I had the sugar free Belgian Cookie flavor in my latte at the suggestion of my barista... smiling friendly service! It was fantastic, not fake tasting and not too sweet either. The espresso isn't burned tasting and has a nice robust flavor. My husband got a panini - they have a few type available if you're hungry. It's just a little drive up shed but worth the stop whether you're local or just passing through on I-10. we sat at the little picnic tables outside to get a short break from our drive.

Stopped in here on my way back home this morning. It was a Wednesday at 5:30am and there was no line. It was also before sunrise and I actually missed the turn as the drive-up is a bit recessed from the main road.The server was extremely friendly. I ordered a large cappuccino with hazelnut syrup. She did an excellent job on the froth. The froth was half the cup.The coffee itself lacked that jolt I like in my cap and it was a tad too sweet. I should have requested just one shot of syrup.I did appreciate the early opening hours and fast service. Few coffee shops open at 5am and close at 6pm.

Great coffee and would have given a 5 star but counter girl was super rude and kept on talking over me when I was trying to ask her a question.

This is a drive thru only. We got a 24oz iced caramel macchiato with sugar free caramel, caramel drizzle and oat milk. Delicious! Coffee is not acidic like other places. A bit pricey but worth it!

Awesome latte and excellent service! Drive through or walkup to the cute white barn! If you are visiting Benson or going to Tombstone you have to stop in!!

Native Grounds has great coffee and they have a variety of drinks to choose from. Fast and friendly customer service.

I asked for a 24oz oat milk iced white mocha latte with two extra shots espresso a pump of caramel, so good!

From start to finish all you get is kindness.. the women who work here are kind and passionate about their job and they make a mean cup of coffee!! I absolutely love their chai with gingerbread if you haven't had this before rush over it's amazing!! And don't forget to get yourself something to eat. I haven't had anything here that I haven't loved.. Haven't been disappointed and I'm very glad!! Keep it up!!

I was just passing through town and saw this coffee shop on Yelp. The girl who took my order was very friendly. I ordered their specialty Chai tea which has 3 shots of espresso!! It's perfect for the long drive.

I'm not a coffee drinker by any stretch--however, I consider myself a Arnold Palmer FIEND. I drink them at every opportunity and have tried many before. I was not expecting anything out of the ordinary when I tried Native Grounds, given that most coffee shops have Arnold Palmers as an afterthought, as simple as just Minute Maid and Lipton. Native Grounds REALLY impressed me; their lemonade is handmade *in the moment*, and they muddle with sugar syrup and include their lemons in the drink. The result is a super lemon-y, refreshing, and delicious Arnold Palmer. Not overly sweet, which is a huge factor in what makes an Arnold Palmer go from just mediocre to GREAT. This was an excellent surprise and I am very pleased.If you are a coffee drinker, you may think this is silly, because APs are so simple. But it takes special place to make a drink as simple as this memorable enough to make a review. Will be back!
