We spent just one night at the Lundeen Inn of the Arts, but could easily have enjoyed a week there. It's an amazing combination of bed & breakfast, art gallery, and a welcome change from staying at motels. The place is family-owned and -run, and as a guest there you are welcomed and made to feel at home by Linda Lundeen and her daughter, Lydia. Each room is themed to a particular artist. We enjoyed the Georgia O'Keeffe room, which was bathed in natural light. Another visitor mentioned that their room had but one small window. This is an older and decidedly eclectic place, so don't expect a modern room with all the amenities. The place's charm more than makes up for it.Good coffee is ready at 6:30 am along with pastries, with a hot homemade breakfast served at 8:30. Fruit and juice are available. Linda Lundeen visits with everyone during breakfast. At age 86, she is sharp, spunky, and has a positive outlook. She reminded me greatly of my sister. We would stay at Lundeen's again in a heartbeat.

If you love eclectic, this is the spot. The room I had was artful and comfortable. Bath a bit on the old side and needing some update but it didn't really matter as the place was so cozy. It is close to the Las Cruces downtown area (10 minute walk) and breakfast is served at a communal table. Hostess loves her place and what she has put in to it over the years. She has a beautiful southwest art collection for viewing and for sale. Close to good restaurants too. Dog friendly too. I'd go again!

We loved this artistic, unique and very spiritual inn. The family that owns this inn has staged remarkable works of art and architecture. The hospitality was A plus. We will return again to this extraordinary inn and spend several days to absorb the artwork and history of this memorable inn. It is truly one of kind lifetime experience that our family will never forgot!

If you are ever in Las Cruces New Mexico and looking for a quite place to stay and enjoy a home cooked breakfast, Lundeen Inn of the Arts is the place for you. The artwork around this home is wonderful if you are into that. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are spacious. The hosts are very nice. You are left with the feeling of being apart of a ever growing family as opposed to being a guest in someones home.So if you are in the area, stop by and stay a night or two as we did.

This hotel was an amazing experience. An art gallery, a B&B, wonderful home cooked breakfasts, centrally located to the city and honestly one of the best experiences I have ever had. The owner and her staff (are family) and they make you feel like an honored guest in this amazing and beautiful place. The interior is like an art gallery and the rooms are huge and comfortable. We are going there again for sure.

It's truly a GEM! What I loved most was the hospitality of Linda Lundeen, the thirty plus year owner of this B&B. She instantly makes you feel like you are part of her family as she shares the history of the Inn and takes you to your room. The atmosphere is fun and eclectic, with hundreds of pieces of art to enjoy and interesting guests to meet while eating breakfast, made lovingly from scratch by her daughter Lydia. My expectations were exceeded and I am grateful that we stayed at Lundeen Inn. The price value and kindness ratio is amazing too! That's why I have given them a 5 star rating!!!

Amazing (dare I say Magical) place with personable staff and stories abound. The staff was nice enough to ask me about myself to really get to know me. Plus they have the most amazing stories. Number of guests are limited. The hotel itself is filled with historical objects (like a 200 year old piano!). Incredibly beautiful garden with whimsical fauna and flora. Art in all its forms deck the walls and are a part of the building's very foundations. A daydreamer's paradise.

This place was full of art and culture. It was like sleeping in a New Mexico art gallery. The host and her daughter made you feel like part of the family. They made a homemade breakfast for us as well. The room was eclectic and comfortable. We had a really great time and will stay again.

The art there is very good. Better than most galleries. The room was nice, but not special. The age of the place is showing, and could use an update. The owner is a very nice lady, and a pleasure to talk to. If you are in the market to buy art, stay here.
