Not bad for the neighborhood cocina! decent breakfast options. I would order the machaca again. The machaca burrito comes with beans and eggs inside. I could probably eat two of them at once, but it went well alongside the chilaquiles rojos. They have a light green homemade salsa that is pretty spicy and also delicious. I would recommend the coffee, as it had a light cinnamon taste to it (yum). Powerades and bottles teas, etc are also sold here.I'll probably return to try their lunch foods at some point.

Hole in the wall that you must not judge by its appearance. We walked in and were skeptical but decided to try anyway. The restaurant itself is a little run down, old tables and booths, random plants and decorations with quiet Spanish music playing in the background. We were served complimentary tortilla chips with bits shredded munster on it, and a unique warm green salsa flavorful with cumino and cilantro. I ordered the caldo de res which was traditional and very home style with meat falling off the marrow filled bones. The rice was moist and had real (not canned) tomato in it, made the way you would make at home. The enchiladas were a bit greasy but you can tell the tortilla was handfried. The refried beans were cheesy and not as good as home made but they were decent enough for me to enjoy with corn tortilla.

Everything about this place reminds me of good, homemade, Mexican food. Lulu has passion over what she does, and she's darn good at it. My mom is an amazing cook, and she absolutely loves coming here, which should speak for itself. The attention she pays to the food, as well as customers makes dining here a wonderful experience. You can request, modify, or ask for anything and if she has the ingredients required, she'll work her magic and blow your taste buds away. Something wrong with your order? She'll happily correct it. Give this place a try, you won't regret it, and you will come back! Did I mention that she's the owner, as well as the only one that touches the grill? Passion! If you're a fan of spicy food like I am, she'll kick your ass upon request with her amazing habanero salsa. Catering, parties and groups are available as well!

Wonderful authentic Mexican food! I love the atmosphere and the staff was very very nice!! I would definitely recommend if you are visiting El Paso and want something different. Very lovely little place

The best torta I've ever had. I got a torta al pastor, and she added ham and cheese. Changed my life.

Nice local Mexican cafe. Decent variety of your typical Mexican entrees. Friendly service and the price is right. 2 salsas delivered to the table. Had breakfast twice already and I want to go back and try lunch there as well.

Great Burritos just yummy ,not greasy

I got some burritos from there and i found them to be some of the worst Mexican food I've ever had
