When I was growing up, we went to the town pool. It had diving boards and a slide. There was a kiddie pool and that was about it.Today's "town" pools are much better. Lost Kingdom is themed and has four water slides, a small lazy river, rock climbing wall, food court, and water basketball courts. The kiddie pool is great, shaded and has a few little things for the kids. Apparently they do special events for adults too. There isn't a lot of shade, unless you purchase the cabanas for like $100.They also charge a $20 cooler fee. Lots of parking, you can spend a few hours here.

I automatically gave it four stars because I don't love the no food policy (snacks). My kiddos don't eat big meals and spending the amount they want at the concession stand isn't worth it.With that being said, we have the membership to come and go as we please. They do get frustrating as sometimes they'll decide members have to pay some evenings. I wish they'd disclose that prior to. Okay so now that we've discussed how cheap I like to be, let's discuss quality. This water park is great for the younger ages. I have a 3 and 6 year old and they both love everything about this place. My friend's kids who are a bit older get a little more bored. Ive heard the other EP Water Parks are geared for higher ages. The Jaguar Jungle is a tree house that I think goes up to about 2 ft. deep. It even has a couple slides that both my kids enjoy. There is a standard pool with a very nice ramp way in. It also has a rockwall attached. There's a lazy river but it's small and only for walking or floating. No rafts. There are two slides that have different height requirements. There's a small area that is perfect for babies. It's only 5 inches. The water park does have locker rooms with showers. You can rent a cabana or luck out and get a picnic table with shade. They have plenty of life jackets but you can bring yours IF they are coast guard approved.

While visiting our grandchildren in El Paso we decided to try out this little water park. Our party was my husband and I, my daughter and her husband, and their three kids: 4yo twins and a 7yo. None of the kids swim well yet. One factory sealed water bottle is allowed per person, which worried us with record heat in the 100s in July, but they've provided a water bottle refilling station near the restrooms which was really nice and helped us stay hydrated. The park is small but the kids had a blast! We loved that they couldn't run off and get lost. The life jackets provided were great and worked well in the little lazy river. Our favorite was the family slide, which everyone loved. It's shallow at the bottom so we didn't worry and the kids could wear their life jackets on it. There's also a faster slide that we didn't try that's more for older kids. It's fun and fast (so said the kid I spoke to that was going down repeatedly. No life jackets are allowed on that one and it dumps into a little deeper spot so not for non swimmers. The thing that impressed me the most was the vigilance of the lifeguards. There were plenty of them and they were on it! Even though the park was small they were constantly moving and watching the water and the kids. Bathrooms were clean and there was shade available. Really great park especially for families and littles.

I will reporting them for child abuse for putting there hands on child and speaking I'll of children with disabilities. I will also not recommend the "director" for encouraging their behavior and having the employees hang up on you when you ask for upper management. Along with making up stories and approaching you with rent a cops because they want to be intimidating.
