Los Portales

This review is long over due! I had my wedding Sept. 2018 at Los Portales and had a great experience. Oscar was very attentive and went above and beyond to make sure me and my wife were happy. I thought the price we got was competitive considering I called a lot of places. The venue itself was really nice and we got a ton of compliments on it. Everything about the property is really nice and you can tell no stops were made when restoring it. Also, the food was really good and we had the chance to taste what we wanted. Again, I can't stress enough how good of a choice we made when choosing this place for our wedding. The service, aesthetics, food, value and vibe were excellent! I 100% recommend Los Portales!!

While researching wedding venues, my fiancé and I wanted to find a location that had real character. Though other venues may offer many different things, we really fell in love with Los Portales when we, luckily, came across it. The beautiful architecture and open landscaping made for the perfect location and backdrop for our Fall wedding. We also loved, and appreciated, the history and story behind the structure itself.We are not local to the area but working with Oscar leading up to our wedding was extremely easy and left us very care-free. We had regular check-ins with him to ensure everything was progressing as planned. He also offered several helpful suggestions for local retailers that were knowledgable and reliable. Once it go to the week of our wedding, Alvaro was also a great deal of help with finalizing some of those last-minute details.The serving staff were also fantastic. Throughout the evening, they made sure all guests had full glasses and were quick to clear tables when necessary. This was something we were not expecting, resulting in it being a very pleasant surprise.Again, my fiancé (now wife) and I could not have been happier with the beautiful setting that the Los Portales venue provided for our special day.Two suggestions for prospective couples considering having their wedding here:- Request to meet with the day-of coordinator prior to the actual date of your wedding. This will definitely help to ensure they are aware of who each person in the wedding party is and who should be contacted if concerns come up.- Share open communication with the DJ surrounding the songs, or specific music, you'd like to be played.

The moment we saw Los Portales, we knew that's where we wanted to get married. The venue is nothing like the typical El Paso wedding venue. The structure, the landscape, the history, is just absolutely beautiful. On top of that, Oscar was so attentive to us and what we wanted. The service you get from Oscar and his team are like nothing you'll ever experience with any other venue. He's always available, listens and answers to all of your questions. We had a dream wedding and everyone can't stop talking about it and how amazing the food was! Thank you again Oscar for everything you did to make our wedding day so special!

Beautiful Wedding Venue! I remember the first time I drove past the Los Portales Venue and couldn't get over how beautiful it was. Now after photographing a few weddings here, and I can honestly tell you this is one of the best venues in the El Paso area. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful and really strives to take care of their brides to ensure they have a beautiful day.

Went to visit the venue ,my sister in law is getting married there in November. The two owners , Oscar and Alvaro are awesome guys! They showed us around and answered all of our questions. They took time to show us around even though they where busy planning an event tonight. It's a beautiful venue!

My Daughter held her wedding and reception here. Beautiful Building, somewhat organized staff. the venue has so much more potential. DJ they recommended was not the best. I have heard they raised the prices, hopefully not too high. we paid enough for what you get. Very friendly staff, everything needs a little more "polishing" and it would be a wonderful event sight. Best of luck to this newer venture.

Great Staff, beautiful venue lots of green areas.Great venue for a wedding in El Paso.

i first went to see the venue about a year before my event and the whole area was just super nice, Green grass and very open garden area. i spoke with Oscar thought out the year leading up to my event and he was very helpful with everything down to the small details. The day of our event Oscar and all his staff were very helpful both to Me and my wife and all of our guest. the staff spoke with me before, during and after the event to make sure everything was going good and to make sure i didn't need anything. i enjoyed my whole night and i can say i made the correct decision with picking Los Portales. 100% would recommend to my family and friends.

Oscar and the whole team at Los Portales made our wedding experience fantastic. Not only is the venue beautiful and very well maintained, but the staff provided an extra level of attention to make sure your wedding experience is as great as possible. They even offer a number of amenities that make the wedding planning process much easier. I highly recommend Los Portales for an affordable and gorgeous wedding venue.
