Los Mariachis on Motel. The food was nowhere close to the food served up at Mariachis on highway 70.
Los Mariachis on Motel Blvd. Recently reopened. Stuffed Sopapilla plate. Green chile was real good but the red Chile was weird
Los Mariachis stuffed Sopapilla plate. The green Chile was quite good but the red was poor. Couldn't finish the red Sopapilla.
Los Mariachis stuffed sopapilla plate. Refried beans were poor and the red chile had a poor flavor...not good. The green Chile was good
The reopened Los Mariachis on Motel Blvd. Salsa was pretty good but the chips something out of a nightmare. Pretty poor.

Los Mariachis is awesome. I highly recommend anything with their green chile sauce. The drive thru is also very convenient and they are fast with your food. Get the burrito banado and expensive heaven in your mouth. Two thumbs up!

Friends in LC invited us to lunch here. I had the chile verde, wife had tacos, of course...Salsa was superb, better than our salsa offerings in Tucson ( don't come to Tucson for Mexican food, the snowbirds have ruined it).All said and done, i definitely enjoyed my lunch and the ambience. Made my day. Really nice server, too! A bit odd for parking, but worth it.

Mariachis was our favorite go to. We'd stop once or twice a week. Then they went and added a 3% fee for debit cards. What the @#? This on top of their menu price increase. Not buying it! We were ok with the price hike but the additional 3% for debit cards - NOT BUYING IT! Debit cards are same as cash in the real world. We will no longer patronize this business and have asked our friends and family to do the same.

Everyone from this side of town seems to eat lunch here everyday. Lots of city workers from all the city offices on Motel, lots of regular Joes and those town peoples who are in the know eat here regularly. Why?The food is really good, the service is friendly and on point, the prices are cheap. We both had combo plates, wife had a soda, I had a margarita (Made with wine as it was really sweet - and my reason for 4 stars and not 5) and we go out of there for about $25. But the beers here are super cheap. I often judge a Mexican place by how good the beans and rice are. Both cooked just like they should be. Mushed refried beans and not over spiced rice. Yum!My tacos were stuffed with meat and fillings. No scrimping here. Wife had the tostadas and they were also stuffed with fillings. This place does not make tiny food! Both of us had the green chile and it was just the right heat. Not too hot not too mild. The free chips were crisp and thick. The salsa was hot. So wait til your water or drink arrives to dig in.Sure they have non-Mexican plates. But don't be THAT gringo. Next time it's tampiquena or maybe fajitas. We may go on Friday as I read they have mariachi music! The enchiladas are flat. I know, I know...that's how they are supposed to be served but i am not a fan. So I go with chile rellenos or tacos.

I ordered 4 tacos for taco Tuesday, my 28th time ordering from this store. They sent 4 tacos with taco meat. No cheese no tomatoes no lettuce. I called them, they say we have a new girl who thought it was ground meat and shells only. Seriously? Are the people here THAT STUPID? SHE DOESNT KNOW HOW TO ASK QUESTIONS IF SHE IS NOT SURE? Appears they need staff with a brain.

My wife and I dined at Mariachis for the first time and were pleasantly surprised. I had the burrito benado which was smothered in green chili and was large enough for two people It was excellent! My wife had their tacos and they were exceptional. The chips were light and the salsa was so good. The service was excellent (prompt, pleasant, etc). The only thing that would have made the experience better would have been a cervasa...but they are getting a liquor license soon. It's a large restaurant and we had noticed that the parking lot was often full when we had previously passed by. Great food and service and under $30. Give this place a try.Tom S

Went in for an early dinner. Very friendly service. We had shredded beef tacos and carne asada tacos. Both very good. Decided to try the dessert sopapilla. So fresh and good. The only drawback was still no liquor license, Serms to be taking forever. The salsa was too hot for my liking but I don't have to eat it. Will definitely come back,

I gave the reopened Los Mariachis on Motel Blvd a few months to get up to speed before checking in. Here is what I experienced. The interior is the same. A pleasant hostess greets you inside the door and takes you to a table. A pleasant and efficient waitress brings you chips and salsa and a menu within a couple minutes. Overall, the service was very good. After ordering the food was on the table within about twelve minutes. The menu appears to be the same as it was before the closure of the restaurant last year. Essentially this is a New Mex restaurant. I ordered my old favorite, the stuffed Sopapilla plate....one red chile con carne and one green. Both smothered. Here is how I evaluate the food. The chips were nothing like the tortilla chips of old. They were really poor...sort of out of a bargain basement grocery store. Rate these chips a "D." The salsa had a kick and the flavor was not bad. Rate the salsa a "B." The refried beans on the plate had no whole beans mixed in and the beans were kind of cold and stiff. The beans had no flavor whatsoever. These refried beans were not good. Rate them a "D." The rice was ok. The sopapillas themselves had a little crispness and were fine. The one with green chile had some cilantro on top and some potato chunks inside...properly par boiled. On top of the sopapilla was their green chile sauce and some white cheese. This green stuffed sopapilla had excellent flavor. There was plenty of tender meat inside. Rate this green stuffed and smothered sopapilla an "A-" for excellent. The red sopapilla on the other hand was not really red; it had an orange color to it and the flavor of the chile was really weird. (The glob of cheddar cheese over the top certainly didn't help.) This was one of the strangest tasting servings of red chile con carne I have experienced....and I've experienced hundreds. I did not finish it. Rate this red stuffed sopapilla a big fat "D." All-in-all, the salsa wasn't bad and the green chile sopapilla was very tasty, but the chips, beans, and red sopapilla were poor. I left feeling let down and frankly disappointed. In previous years I rated this Los Mariachis restaurant in the top five or six Mexican restaurants in town, but no longer. After today's experience it has fallen away to around fifteenth or twentieth. The ambiance is nice and the service good, but that food!!! They just have to do better than that. I literally, could not finish the chips, nor the refried beans, nor the red smothered stuffed sopapilla. Rate the overall dining experience Three and a Quarter Stars...meaning just above average...the food just didn't cut it. (I would note that they open at 11:00 am not 8:00.) Be careful when reading these reviews as some are confusingly the Los Mariachis on Motel Blvd with the Los Mariachis on Bataan East...out route 70. If they mention the drive up window they are speaking of the one on Route 70. This restaurant has no drive in window!
