Always consistent... I mean, everything isn't exactly the same each time, it differs by cook, but the food is consistently decent. Their breakfast platter used to be the best deal in town, it's more expensive now, but still a good deal as it is fresh, and the bacon is nice and thick. With the breakfast though, if you order scrambled eggs, they will come fried, not scrambled. In fact, we recently, just a few weeks ago, ordered scrambled eggs as we usually do, and after over 20 years of them coming fried, they actually came SCRAMBLED! LOL, we were in a stupor... like WOW! But over the years I've come to prefer them fried, perhaps cus I'm more used to it now, lol. The papas are excellent when they are fried well, but often will not be completely cooked/fried, which is a shame because they are really good with the salsa on them. Their rellenos are rather thin, greasy, and not much to talk about. But their chalupa is really good, burritos are really good, and enchiladas are excellent. Their dining area is HUGE and excellent for business meetings or family get togethers.

It's hit and miss. I ordered the Mexican plate and my husband had the green enchilada plate to go, with a side of queso and chips it had no flavor, no salt, the queso was watery a couple weeks ago we ordered the same exact things to go and it was great. A restaurant should have consistency. The owners should train the cooks on keeping their recipes the same every time. The only thing so far that is consistent is the service, it's great.

We are from San Antonio, TX, passing through Las Cruces, NM and stumbled across this great little restaurant. Really surprised there weren't any reviews on Yelp. They have 3 locations in Las Cruces. We stopped by for breakfast about 9:30am. The Huevos Rancheros were great. Very good Red & Green sauce. A little different than most places. Small pieces of pork and potatoes in the sauce. Kind of Colorado de Puerco or Verde de Puerco. Chips & Salsa were very good as well. This a order & pay at the counter and they bring your food to your table. Friendly and fast service.
