Los Colorines

This place was really cute. Yes, definitely inside the Chase building, first floor. The service was great, great team. The food was good, I mean considering it's like a little restaurant that I'm sure serves the purpose of feeding the employees that work in the building! Cute spot, nice to support smaller businesses!

They are located in the Chase building on the 1st floor. We only found it because of Yelp. I got the special, which was 3 brisket tacos, rice, beans, salad, and tortilla soup, all for $7.50. The tortilla soup is AMAZING!!! It's so simple but so good!!! I normally would not order tortilla soup, but I saw a picture with the fresh avocado and cheese on top and had to try it. The tortilla strips were from homemade corn tortillas. So good! This soup is perfect comfort food!The chips were awesome! They were made from thick homemade corn tortillas. Very crunchy and not greasy. The salsa was a little weird for me. It was good, but there was a spice, like maybe chili powder that too powerful, so I didn't eat a lot. The brisket tacos were good, but I didn't expect there to be barbecue sauce on them. They were still good, but I think they would have been better without the sauce. The Rice was good and pretty traditional. I did not try the beans, but my friend said hers were good. The service is awesome. The ladies were so sweet and even though it was closing time, they told us to take our time. I asked for my itemized receipt because I was there on business and the lady told me that she marked the candy that I bought as "soup" to insure that my company paid for it. I got a good laugh out of that!If you are in El Paso, you have to try that soup!

So hospitable! We stopped in around 2:45 pm not realizing they were closing at 3:00 pm. They made us feel welcome and not rushed! I tried the special for the day, beef steak tacos, with rice and beans; and tortilla soup. Tortilla soup! It's one of their specialties! It's a flavorful broth with in house made tortilla strips and avocado! You'll want to try this!We felt like they invited us into their home.

Is located inside of an office building and it's meant more for convenience-of the employees of take advantage of. The service was great but the food was just okay.

Best BLT sandwich, homemade chicken noodles soup with tortillas, burrito de machaca, Colorines salad w/ beef!

I always have my guard up when I try out new Mexican Restaurants, but as soon as I tasted their Tortilla Soup, the walls came crashing down! Food was perfect! My only complaint is that they're not open on the weekend, so I won't be able to come back before I head home to Phoenix.

In downtown EP for business. Crossed street from fun Coffee Box for lunch. Nice business lunch atmosphere, and probably the best burrito I've ever had. This was not your huge CA style burrito, just a long, thin wrap for $3.50. I got the burrito Colorines: chicken and chipotle. It was most amazing flavor I've had, especially for that price. My only regret is that I can't go back tomorrow for their Tortilla soup

This is a small restaurant on the first floor of the Chase bank building. The food is ridiculously cheap, even for El Paso. The salsa is hard to describe, very unique, and highly addictive. Both breakfast and lunch are great here. Not health food - at all.The family that runs the restaurant is very, very nice.

Great food, awesome staff and lovely owners. Authentic Mexican food and great atmosphere. Very affordable. I ordered the green Chile, with caldo, very delicious. They are in the Chase building.
