We flew back to El Paso from Fort Worth to eat there again! Our 4th visit! Service is always perfect and we sat out on the patio for the first time and loved it! Loved the true Mexican atmosphere! We will be back again!

Note that this place also appears on YELP as Carlos and Mickeys. We were in town for a few days to visit family for the holidays and couldn't believe how early many places close on Sunday night! Unfortunately the place we really wanted to eat at closes early on Sundays. So we hesitantly decided to go to Carlos & Mickey's since it was open. My boyfriend said the margarita was good but the food was very subpar. We added the salsa that came with the free tostadas to the guacamole. It needed something to give it a decent taste. Then my flautas were not very good. I asked for more salsa so they brought me a different version. The salsa made the flautas somewhat more palatable. My boyfriend had a combo plate and ate it since he was hungry but didn't say he really liked anything on it. I say this to those from out of town esp when visiting for events like the Sun Bowl, there are other restaurants that serve fantastic Mexican food in El Paso. You should truly consider one of those!

Came here for a gal pal's bridal shower and it was perfect. The noise level was just right- enough energy to keep us going but low enough that we could have great conversations. The food was tasty and delicious and of course the drinks well they're famous all on their own. The price is right and there's plenty of parking. This place is iconic to El Paso so if you haven't been here yet, make it a point.

My friends came here to get Texas sized margueritas. I ordered the pina colada whoch was 1 of the non-alcoholic drinks. They said the margueritas were very strong and they were happy with it but it didn't taste as sweet as they expected. My pina colada was one of the best drinks I have ever had. It was so refreshing, I could not stop drinking it. The food was ok. I got fish tacos, the others got steak ranchera. The fish tacos did not seem fresh. But the prices of the food qas very reasonable. I would definitely back here for the drinks.

My husband and I stopped by Carlos and Mickey for a casual dinner and decided to try their frozen margaritas. They were definitely good, refreshing drinks that hit the spot. I opted for the tacos al pastor, which were tasty and satisfying, though I must admit they weren't the best I've had in El Paso.Unfortunately, my husband's carnitas were burnt, dry, and clearly overcooked, leaving much to be desired in terms of flavor and texture. It was a letdown compared to the rest of our meal.

Went to a dinner party at CnM on Saturday night evening. It was a large party and we had a small room to ourselves. There were two servers attending us but they didn't miss a beat. I had a Texas margarita which I downed in like 20 minutes. It was good but coulda had less ice. I ordered the shrimp rellenos. Everyone got their food within 15 minutes-20 minutes my plate was steaming and looked delish. Those rellenos look fat. Green chile was a lil spicy which complete the shrimp. It was a good choice and I ate it all. rice and beans were good too. Great meal great atmosphere. Love this place.

Los Bandidos De Carlos & Mickeys came highly recommended by my husband who used to frequent it a lot due to living down the street from the restaurant! I had high expectations going in, hoping for some authentic Mexican cuisine in El Paso.We arrived on a weekday for dinner and surprisingly the parking lot was full! We ended up finding a spot in back, thankfully. That was a good sign to me that they were busy, meant their food must be good! Even though the parking was full we were seated right away. I love the vibe of the restaurant. They even had a live mariachi band somewhere inside, I couldn't see them but I could hear them. Really gave that authentic experience.I'm a huge sucker for some good Queso fundido. I had seen it on their menu prior to arriving and already knew that's what I was going to order. As for my husband, he's a fan of their cheese enchiladas so that's what he got. We also ordered some drinks, my husband had a beer and I got their strawberry margarita. It was huge! And delicious. Exactly what I'd expect for a margarita. As for the queso fundido, it was pretty good! Not exactly the melted cheese I'm used to from my favorite spots out here in SoCal but it wasn't bad either. I wish they had the fresh flour tortillas like I get at the restaurants out here but I think they just make their tortillas with a different type of flour. Nothing too big. Everything was still delicious and satisfying.I'd definitely be back to try more of their menu items!
