Lone Star Golf Club

The restaurant at this golf course is very good! Staff is friendly and the place is clean. If you want a fresh Mexican breakfast or lunch you should give place a try! Sorry I forgot to take pictures. I had the machaca plate. It came with refried beans and four tortillas. They do not make their own fresh tortillas but the brand these use is satisfactory.

If you are looking for a fancy golf place this is not it. If you are looking for a nice play to golf and clear your mind this is it! The place is green and that is hard to achieve in El Paso. What I love most of Lone Star Golf Club is that you got everything you need to have a good time and golf without emptying your wallet and that is gold!

Live the golf course itself. Greens in very good shape. Fun golf and not too punishing if you haven't been in a while. Bunkers need softer sand. Like concrete in places. The major reason for the lower stars is because when it's 96-98 degrees your beverage cart (when we could find it) should definitely have water! Absolutely unforgivable ti not either have coolers of water or at least sale some on you beer cart? I mean we had some beer, but in those conditions when you offer zero water stations is hard to forgive. I'm 49 and felt like a heat stroke by the 15th hole. But other than that, nice place to play. I just may not come back until the weather gets below 80? We did bring a couple of our own bottles, but I've never not been offered water in 30+ years playing?

Nice easy flat course. Trees will bite you if not careful. SO PLAY so be patient. Restaurant is great and gals are sweet. My only complaint is the loud abnoxiuos group of middle aged men who sit around and get drunk, get loud and cuz. I quess they don't want to go home. Other than that it's a fun course.

We had our wedding ceremony here back in October of 2019. The course during that time of year is unbelievable, green grass, it's well kept and great for any outdoor ceremony during that time. At the time of planning for the ceremony Justin had to take over and did an outstanding job. Justin and Alexis (I hope that's her name) were outstanding the day of the ceremony. I cannot say enough good things about both of them. The detail they gave to our request were unmatched. Everything came together due to the Justin, Alexis and the outstanding course. Thank you for everything.

Cool place to play golf :) I come here every week for a lesson. It's $100 for 5 classes (it's more expensive if you want a lesson with the owner). It gets pretty packed on weekends afternoon so if you want to practice at the range, I'd recommend you to come a little early.

Who knew? They have a restaurant where you can sit inside and look at the beautiful course or sit outside and enjoy a delicious bowl of menudo on the patio. Service was great, the food was great. What I liked most was the diversity? The seasoned and mature to young folks and all hues. Can't believe I've been here all my life and barely discovered this place. I don't golf bit I will definitely make this a regular stop.

Their tee time booking system is completely messed up! They claim it's first come first serve but they won't answer the phone! They give all the good tee times to their regulars and pretend they filled up on a first come first serve basis. It's expensive and you will have to wait to tee off at every hole, course Marshall doesn't speed up their regulars

4 stars is because sometimes you can't use your driver at the driving range. Course is well maintained.

Nice driving range. However, I asked if anything available for a single and am told not until late afternoon. Seems to me they could have, like every other time I've ever walked on would try to work me in if someone didn't show. Bad form.
