On May 29, 2021, we were passing through Silver City on a road trip and I came across this gem of an art studio and workspace. The studio was closed and wouldn't be open during our brief stay, but I was impressed the view from the window.In addition to the contents of the studio, I was extremely impressed with the openness of the business itself. With unapologetic window decals talking about Covid safe practices, Biden/Harris election support, BLM, and a rainbow flag, I knew that this gem of an art studio welcomes everyone equally. Small towns and their inhabitants don't always have this mentality, which I have encountered in my travels. A shout out to Light Art Space for making a difference in presenting creative art pieces, welcoming everyone, and living your truth. We see you!
