Are usually do not give five stars in my yelps but for this cake I would give it to six test kitchen I've ever had down in Las Cruces or anywhere else enjoy the pictures cause I enjoy the cake

Stopped in on a Thursday afternoon and was greeted with a warm welcome. I started off by telling Stephanie about my wedding cake ideas and she had tons of photos to help the process. She was so in tuned on what i was saying and the ideas I was going for and her help was outstanding! Her knowledge of cakes, sizes, setup, cupcakes, designs, etc was mind blowing! This was my first time in her shop and she made me feel so comfortable and sealed the deal to go with her! While I was in the shop i was able to see her interact with other customers and she is so polite and the best part about it was she washed her hands and counter every single time! She is so positive during this pandemic and it's small business like hers we need to support! Thank you Stephanie and I can't wait for the final products

Stephanie did the cakes and cupcakes for my parents' 50th wedding anniversary. The food was amazing. From her initial contact, to a delicious tasting, to finalizing the order, to the final and very finished product, she was The Cake Professional. It was a great experience. I did most of this from out of state and of all the agencies we worked with, she was the easiest. Even when my mom came along for the tasting, she was discreet and tasteful (pun intended) about the finances of the endeavor. I can't recommend her enough. If it's an event where you want the details handled well and have a great dessert, call Stephanie. She's the woman!

I went today and loved they required a mask before entering, you ring a bell then they unlock the door. No mask no problem they will bring out what you want curbside. Ok, let's get to the cupcakes, they were amazing, soft all the way through, no crispy tops and the frosting was amazing, soft and creamy. I only got 2 cupcakes; red velvet with cream cheese frosting and devil's food with fudge frosting. I also loved the packaging and the papers they come in, they came out nicely with little left on the paper. They are a bit smaller than others I have got from other bakeries, but that's fine since a treat shouldn't be large, plus less calories when they are smaller lol I was satisfied after my husband and I shared the 2 so the size was fine. I seriously do not understand the bad reviews and the lady who helped me was sweet as can be.

Only kind things to say in this review! My fiancé (now wife) and I were extremely fortunate to find Stephanie and Let Them Eat Cake for our recent wedding.We are not local to the area, but Stephanie was always available for any questions or concerns we had. Prior to a trip to the area, we had a conference call with Stephanie where we discussed various flavors we enjoyed in preparation for a tasting. When it came time for our tasting, our drip ended up being delayed, but Stephanie remained extremely accommodating and worked with us though we were an hour late.To our surprise, Stephanie had prepared numerous options for us to try based on our previous discussion. As this was our first time doing a tasting such as this, Stephanie shared bits of insight and suggestions, but never pushed us in a specific direction. We really relied on her to help us with determining accurate count for our wedding to ensure everyone was able to enjoy her delicious creations.We ended up landing on going with mini cupcakes and a small cutting cake. Stephanie worked with us to create three different, completely custom, cupcake flavors, as well as a custom cutting cake.Cut to our wedding day. Stephanie and her assistant showed up early to set up our cake table. They did an amazing job making our table look full and welcoming to our guests. Numerous stands were also provided that really fit the design for our wedding. Everything was extremely professional and perfect.Stephanie also provided us with a box to keep our cake in following the wedding, and she had a custom box to hold 6 (3 each) of our cupcake flavors to ensure we had them following our busy day.Again, I cannot praise Stephanie and her team enough. They really shined and helped our day run smoothly by being so professional and accommodating. The next time we're in town, we'll be sure to swing by and taste more of her amazing creations.

I had always seen this cake place but never went because I never knew they had pre-made cupcakes that could be taken out the same day. I recently found out that they had vegan cupcake up front and decided to make a visit. I went in on a Friday to check out everything and maybe pre-order some cupcakes for Valentines. When I went in someone greeted me right away and helped me out. I asked about pre-ordering and they informed me that since my order was small I could come back and pick up the cupcakes the same day. I checked out the flavors and they told me they that they continue the flavors for 2 weeks. I came back on Monday and they had the same cupcakes they had out since Friday. I picked out my 4 cupcakes. Other bakeries usually just have the cupcakes out for display and once you order they frost them fresh but instead they took the cupcakes already frosted that were in the display from who knows how long ago. The 3 flavors I tried were Cupid "raspberry", pink lemonade, and Peach. First the cupcakes were incredibly small, maybe 1 inch of cake and an inch of frosting. If I'm paying $4.50 for a cupcake I expect them to be a little larger in size. The Cupid raspberry cupcake tasted like pure food coloring and left stains everywhere. They achieved the pink lemonade taste perfectly but the cake was the smallest of the 4, less than inch in size. The peach was my favorite , Not too sweet and tasted very natural, not the usually artificial flavoring. While having a vegan option at a bakery is amazing for Las Cruces, the 4 cupcakes were not worth the $20.

Celebrating my mother's 96th birthday we needed something extraordinary. Let them eat cake more than met that expectation. The lemon (her favorite) flavored personal cake for her and guest's cupcakes were not only beautiful, but delicious as well. The attention to detail in the artistry was truly appreciated by all. Thank you!

I was very satisfied with my cupcakes. They were moist and has good flavor. However, they were on the pricey side for being small. I guess that's what you should expect for specialty cupcakes in a smaller city like Las Cruces. Overall I would recommend this place if you're craving a cupcake and don't mind spending around $4 for each. If you're expecting a big selection and a large cupcake like from sprinkles, you may be a little disappointed.

The owner of this place needs to replace the front lady who takes orders on the phone. She is extremely rude and doesn't not care about losing business at all. She acts as if she is the owner and runs this place and as if this is the only bakery in Las Cruces when it is so not. There are many other great bakeries and places for dessert in Las Cruces to order from, so don't think just because this bakery is across from the University that it is your only option here. There competition will end up having this place end up with doors closed in the a few years, if they keep treating customers poorly. If they don't treat there customers like quality, then I can only imagine what they do to there cakes when no one is looking and that they lack in quality big time too.

Got a price on a cake, discussed coming back the next day to secure the order. Came back the next day and was told to come back the following day, came back and they said there wasn't enough time to order it now. Totally ruined the party.
