These heart shaped cookies at Le Rendezvous Cafe were mediocre at best. Not good. They sold for $2.00 each. Ouch!

We stumbled upon this cafe while looking for dessert after our lunch. It was packed, with lots of people waiting. The pastry looked delicious, and by all accounts, must be very good, cause they were running out. We did not dine-in, but took home a fruit tart and oh, my, was it good.It seemed like a nice small cafe, no loud music, with managers present and visible, everyone helping their coworkers.Planning to make a special trip here to try the food.

Excellent service and the place was packed. Rafael was an excellent waiter. Caprese chicken sandwich and French charcuterie assortment dazzled us. And definitely try the key lime cheesecake! We did not feel like we were in New Mexico for the time. This was basically a busy French diner. I would definitely return here!

A wonderful lunch/breakfast place with incredible pastries! We enjoyed a veggie platter and Eggs Benedict. Both dishes were perfectly prepared and thoroughly enjoyable. The coffee was also quite good and the service was prompt, friendly and efficient. The interior decor is pseudo Parisian but it overly tacky. Don't be fooled by the partly empty strip mall as you first arrive, this place is real and unique in Las Cruces.

It was a Thursday, about mid morning when I came here on a whim following an appointment. It is a small establishment on the end of a strip-mall type building. The sign is a little difficult to read, but I found it anyway. The first thing you see is a large, clean glass display of the most vibrant, fresh, mouthwatering pastries greeting you. I honestly stood there gazing at them for a while before deciding to sit down and enjoy the full experience. Since it was a weekday, it was not terribly busy as it is known to get on the weekend. I snagged a small table by the wall. OK so I wouldn't REALLY call it French, but I'd admit it is more so French-INSPIRED. My server was super sweet and very patient with my indecision - I couldn't help it! All the pastries looked SO GOOD. But between my budget and my waistline, I could not very well get all of them! I settled on a Ham and Brie sandwich side of Potato and bacon soup, Cappuccino and a Raspberry Tart to go. Also got the Eggs Benedict (roast beef?) with a side salad to go for my husband. I had really high expectations for my sandwich and it did not hit the mark. A couple of things: I expected the bread to be more Baguette, less Brioche texture. I love Brie and wanted to be able to taste it. However, the strong flavor of the mustard sauce over powered the gentle flavor of the Brie. The potato soup tasted great with the smokiness of the bacon nicely incorporated with the creaminess of the soup, but I wish it was a bit thicker. The tart was absolute perfection! It literally could not have been any more perfect! My husband sent me a text about his food saying "this is delicious!" I'll definitely be back - many times!

Second time here. Came back with my fiancé and his family. It's a cute little French cafe. This place is always busy, which is a good sign :) I'm from Japan and I know the chef's wife and her sister are also from Japan so chatted with them before. It's in a weird location but the food is just top notch. The server this time was kind of monotone and cold, but overall experience was good. I'd recommend this place to anyone who is visiting las cruces.

Great food great service and super reasonable prices! We came from out of town and needed some breakfast and this place was amazing. We've been in town before and this is the first time we've tried this place and it was great. It was busy but not packed and the pastry selection was amazing!

What a wonderful place. The owners are very friendly and very hard working! I get tired just watching them...lol. The food is exceptional. The atmosphere is bustling. Their French onion soup is amazing. Their pastries are second to none.

This quaint and cozy cafe is a must if you're in Las Cruces, NM. I enjoyed a BYO omelet that had mushrooms, bell pepper, ham and feta cheese. So delicious! I also ordered a warmed croissant. It was a fabulous compliment to my omelet. I got an iced caramel latte decaf that I fully enjoyed. And I made sure to grab some beautiful and yummy treats from the bakery. I was told the chef is actually French and bakes all the sweet treats in the showcase. Last but not least, I had the sweetest server. Kee was attentive, helpful (since this was my first visit), and smiled alot. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit here, food and all. Cost is $$ and fits the food portions.

Come here for the food and ignore the ambiance! Our first impressions: Walking in it looked a bit like an average cafeteria place. Well, people come here for the food! Here's our experience: The pastries and omelets are first class. We ordered the breakfast omelette and it was so delicious! Then for dessert we had a chocolate croissant which was light and flaky and just plain wonderful. Then we ordered the Tiramisu and having traveled to Europe a few times, we were surprised that it rivaled any Tiramisu we've had in Italy! I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could! We highly recommend this restaurant!
