lazy lizard bar and grill

It's a very small place. In the hotel QualityInn. Had a hard time finding it, did not it was in the hotel. They only had one person working and she was busy making drinks. She is very nice but took to long to order. She did get our order the strawberry tea was bad. The chicken sandwich was okay but we had to wait to long

Lazy Lizard is not advertised very well. You will not see a sign saying "Here I am!" The place is small located inside the Quality Inn exterior hotel across the street from LA Quinta, Hampton and Holiday Inn. Locals know it of course but if Deming is your half way point and you need a road break and need a drink and little bite then this is your hotel bar. The other hotels do not have a bar. This place has a few TVs to watch sports on as well as a TouchTunes jukebox. The food is okay and if you're hungry then it's good. No elevated menu here. Although the food is not spectacular, the beer is cold and the company and service is great. Stacy the bartender has been there over 20 years she's a local gal with an abundance of info. and can tell you about the area. Definitely a little hidden gem and I'd prefer not to advertise so it's not jam packed next time I pop in but y'all need some signage man! It would be much easier to find especially when it's past 8 pm and you can't find another place in Deming that's open.

First I have to say, when in Deming I stay at the Quality Inn and the Lizard is in the hotel. So if traveling thru Deming and would like a hotel with bar and restaurant this is your hotel of choice. Very clean hotel and great breakfast with gravy biscuits bacon or sausage and all kinds of cereals and pastries. Now the Lizard, I think Stacie has been a bartender I'm not goi g to say how many years but for a while. One person show she handles drink orders and food orders and gets the food out quickly with the help of the cook. Bobby does a great job with food and is quick to get to Stacie. Stacie pours a good drink and always has some good music on the jukebox. This bar is frequent by locals and hotel guess.

Nice clean cozy bar, beer was cold, the food was basic deep fried fare with burgers, chicken and fish, nothing special but adequate filler. Bartender was very friendly and attentive, just what we we're looking for after a long drive.

For the lounge only, small clean friendly bar tender. One of the few local water holes. Priced right! Didn't try the restaurant but there was a good crowd, follow up review after I try it. Forgot to mention touchtunes music and 3 t v screens with games on!

OMG. I just came in for a nice relaxing beer to unwind after an exhausting day. Games on TV. They actually have sound on.But these three obnoxiously loud bitches can't stop talking loudly like they were at a Metallica concert or the Limelight. Calm the eff down.This place gets one star for not putting a stop to the nonsensr. I mean come on you have other patrons in here trying to enjoy themselves without being interrupted. I had one beer and couldnt take it anymore so had to go leave.Oh and this bar randomly closes whenever the bartender decides to. The time posted is 2 am but they closed yesterday at 12. The hotel clerk for Quality Inn, which this is part of, said they close "whenever". WTF

Typical hotel food, not great......but then again it wasn't horrible either. Prices were reasonable, service was good. Ordered a Taco Salad which seemed to lack re-fried beans, or very little, if any.

Stopped in to eat and finally found where the lounge is. We ordered and noticed that the waitress was also the bartender. We waited what seemed like a long time and I saw the cook come out looking around for the waitress who was bantering with the bar patrons. I tried to flag down the cook who was wandering around but missed which was noticed by the waitress/bartender. She then went back and brought out our food which was lukewarm and the fries were soggy already. Waitress has no way of knowing when the food is ready it seems and doesn't seem to care. We were only person waiting for food at the time so we're not busy. Would NOT recommend this place unless you want to drink only.

We came for the duck races and stayed at the holiday inn, someone told us about this bar so we went Friday night, it was nice. Loud music lots of customers good service. We went back Saturday night, big difference, there were only a few people there at about 9:30. There was a total of 7 barstools in the entire bar and only one was available. I sat down and we asked the bartender if there was another stool. She said no. Didn't even bother to pretend to try to help. So we moved to a table. We had one drink and left. We didn't appreciate her attitude which was like we were outsiders. We have money to spend and we wanted to be treated like customers not unwelcome strangers.
