Las Palmas Mexican Restaurant

Ordered the # 3 Mexican Plate, as soon as they delivered it a saw the Chile Relleno was blacken, burned. I looked at the low talker server ( talked like " I hate my job " and could barely hear him ) started to walk away, asked for a tortilla which were hard and tough! For $14.99 or so I got a taco and red enchilada rice and beans!I've eaten at their other locations and they do much better ( putting some pride in what they serve )

Always amazing delicious food, the staff is vey friendly and efficient! Highly recommend these folks if you're looking for some amazing Mexican food and fabulous service!

We enjoy the food and the service at this restaurant. It's never packed and it has a good vibe.

Not very good my husband had the tortilla soup and it looked like water he said that it was cold and it barely had anything in it after 3 helpings of it he just couldn't eat it he says it tasted horrible didn't send it back because we don't like doing that won't be back oh and Margaritas suck we couldn't even drink them just paid the check and left everything.

My favorite crispy tacos!! Every time I'm nearby I stop in just to have them. Friendly and fast service.

So I've only been here once, and perhaps if I try it again I'll update my review. This is a newer place, located in a shopping center ok the east side of El Paso of Zaragoza. It seems to be like a typical chain restaurant as far as Mexican food goes. Not that it's bad or anything, the food I had was perfectly fine, but it just doesn't have that homely, hole-in-the-wall, super authentic feel to it. Like the type of place that you can tell someone's abuela is in the back cooking your food. But again, as far as chain type places go, this one was pretty solid. I mean, 3/5 stars for my one and only visit still ain't too shabby. I had tacos, deshrebrada I believe, but honestly can't remember. Nothing much to write home about. And that's not a knock to this place... but it's just that we live here in El Paso, and Mexican food is not hard to find lol. So it's rather rare and special to find a place that blows you away. Prices were fine. Seating was fine. Location is doable. I'd only even went because this place is very close to the person I was meeting, and they didn't want to travel far. But it was a Tuesday and we wanted tacos, and tacos we had. I'll probably try it again one day when COVID is finished (hopefully). And when I do, I'll update the review. But again, 3/5 ain't bad. It's worth a try. I'm picky anyways, so a 3 for me might be a 4 for you? Or vice versa. Who knows really.

What a sad state of affairs. Ambiance and staff experience alone drove us to leave before we even ordered food. We were given one paper menu for our party, and we're not given a drink menu. At the bar, the "bartender" said he needed to talk to the manager when I asked for a drink menu. We declined. When I asked about signature drinks, we were told they have palomas, but the bartender wasn't sure what was in a Paloma "I hear they're good" and he left to get the manager. 10 minutes, not so much as a water. There were maybe 4 parties in total in the restaurant, one staff member at a table looking through receipts who stopped the bartender on his way to find the manager to look at receipts with her. With this, decided to save ourselves an extended headache and left. Can't say I'd recommend anyone visit here.

In these uncertain times, sickness and Covid are dominating are lives again. I find that chicken caldo is mends the wounds. My go to is las Palmas for caldo, when I have no time to make it myself. It's always fresh with plenty of big chunks of vegetables and always full of meat. So when ur feeling sick and need a recharge order a chicken caldo to go, if ur like me and been avoiding crowds lately, pick up and drive thru is available.

Today, had a rude waitress. She was in a hurry, got order wrong, not listening, trying to clear table before we were done. Did not enjoy our meal. Usually the service is great, but not today. She was short and seemed disturbed that we asked for a napkin, because she took it away too soon.
