Las Palmas has the best salsa in town. And I love the chili rellanos here. They have really cold beer and yummy margaritas. Our servers are all very helpful and take good care of us. It's a great evening out.

The chile colorado was great! The meat was super tendered and had a delicious flavor. The combination plate was okay, nothing special. Our server was attentive, we arrived right as they were opening and it became busy very fast. The ambiance was good & the prices of the food are good! We will definitely be back & give it another try!

I got caught out during the snowstorm this winter and wasn't sure which restaurants would still be open and have fresh foods available. Thankfully I took a chance on Las Palmas and had the best meal of the week there. Their parking lot is not well plowed when there is snow but my AWD vehicle managed without issue. Thank goodness! The shrimp al ajillo was everything I could have hoped for and more. I will be back here the next time I'm in the area and craving amazing Mexican food!

Las Palmas is one of my very favorite Mexican food restaurants in El Paso. While I am an out-of-towner, I try to visit every time I am in El Paso. I am accustomed to southwestern style Mexican food, but once you are east of El Paso or west of Las Cruces, it's really hard to find.It was a Thursday evening. I had just arrived in town and really craved Mexican food. Even though it's a drive for me, I drove to Las Palmas to pick up takeout for me and the family. I had a seat at the bar waiting for service. They were pretty busy and the phone orders were really rolling in. First impressions were that the place was squeaky clean and the atmosphere festive. The young lady behind the bar approached with a big smile and friendly disposition, wished me a Merry Cristmas and asked what she could get for me. I asked for a beer and placed an order for three Mexican plates. That beer was oh so good and just as I finished it, my order was out. And off I went. As I left, it was good to see so many people there enjoying the evening. The place has a really upbeat atmosphere. When I arrived home, the food was still hot and the order was flawless. Everything was really good. The enchilada with onions was divine, the taco was really good and the Relleno was made with Hatch chili just the way I like. While writing this review, I crave another. I think I will...Thank you Las Palmas crew! You're one place I can't get enough of!

My sister and I were heading back home to California from visiting our little sister in Austin when we decided to check out Las Palmas. I must say that for being such a young staff they have pretty good customer service skills. We were greeted immediately upon entering..We were seated right away. Our waiter seemed to be a bit nervous but nevertheless he provided us with very good service. He was attentive and made sure our orders were made just right. My sister had the Chile Relleno plate and I had the torta de Milanesa. I'll be completely honest with you. As a self proclaimed torta expert the torta de milanesa here at Las Palmas is one of the best one I've had in a long time. Las Palmas is definitely worth checking out. If you're ever driving through El Paso I'd highly recommend this establishment. I almost forgot to mention their salsa that is given to you when they bring the chips and salsa. It taste so good with just the right amount of spice. Las Palmas I'll see you soon. Thank you for making my first visit their so memorable.

We actually only got to the chips, salsa, and drinks. We left after hearing how poorly the Assistant Manager, Fernando, spoke to other customers and ourselves, and then about his wait staff. Our waitress was great and friendly, keeping ours drinks filled, chips refilled, etc. We asked about the burger special on the board. She said they were $6 on Monday. We ordered three burgers. A few minutes later we hear another table getting spoken to because they were arguing about false advertisement. When Fernanado was done speaking at them, I asked if he was talking about the burgers. They said yes and that their waitress, who was different than ours, had told them they were six dollars. Fernando said "No, she's new." I explained that ours had said the same thing. Ours has been there awhile but she just "didn't know" even though the sign said $6. He continued to blame the waitresses and we told him we'd rather leave than listen to him. He said please leave. My daughter (3) was crying fod her food. What really was upsetting is he pointed at me and told another customer in Spanish. He was laughing. The other customers, eight of them, had no choice but to pay.We paid our waitress. She was shaking and offered to pay for our food. She was apologizing up and down. We told her not her fault, we'd believe the sign too. Hopefully she can find someone nicer to work for.

I came here on a Sunday after church with my family and it was not very full with people. We were seated quickly but our table LOL had the worst wobble ever. We asked for help to get our table from stop wobbling so our drinks would not fall and they brought us napkins and placed them under the table leg. It helped a little bit but I would've thought they could've offered another table since there was other empty tables. Anyways, well our food was ok not great. The guacamole tasted horrible though sort of like dish soap so no one touched the guacamole at our table. Since this restaurant was my cousins first choice I didn't complain but I definitely will not recommend coming back again. They also informed me that they had ran out of menudo and it was 2pm. Oh and the iced tea tasted awkwardly old. Yeah I will skip this restaurant in the future.

Las Palmas is a great place for breakfast. Hasn't dined I a while and was craving a steaming bowl of menudo after all the rain we been gettin. Ordered the large bowl and just like I thought a piping hot steaming bowl was brought to me. It looked so delicious couldn't I wait to take the first spoonful. And just as I thought, delicious in my mouth.. the menudo was hot and spicy, with plenty of posole and a generous amount of meat. I didn't finish the bowl but I really tried. Las Palmas menudo is definitely recommended for trip out for breakfast.
