Las Colegas Seafood

So all week I've had a hankering for shrimp ceviche and well I finally got home Friday after a long work week. I asked my wife if she was game and since she's on a diet and she can eat sea food, off we went. I ordered the Camarones Aguachile while my wife had the fried medium size black bass and we ordered a large shrimp cocktail to share. The waiter first brought us a small cup of fish soup which was very tasty actually and he brought us some chips and salsa and that was very good. My wife tore into that fish and it never stood a chance and my camarones aguachile were delicious. The shrimp cocktail was very good and we will definitely be back baby.

Quick meal for lunch close to work. Had the tacos de alambre as all tacos where the lunch special for the day. Alambre always my favorite. Spivey and Delicious. 4 tacos with enough meat for all 4. The green Chile salsa was an added compliment was really tasty and just hot enough. I would add more melted asadero cheese tho. Maybe I'll ask for it next time.

What a great find. Very friendly and great atmosphere. We had shrimp cocktail and shrimp ceviche. They start you with chips and a delicious salsa then a small seafood soup. All way amazing. Will definitely be back.

Delish! Visited from Albuquerque, New Mexico I gotta say I loved it! Great flavor & ambiance. Having to have relocated from San Diego, I found my new spot in El Paso as the menu reminds me of home.

Great shrimp cocktail. The amount of shrimp for the price is worth it. Highly recommend it.

They have Great shrimp cocktails and love the fish tacos! I have never been disappointed. Also, you always feel welcomed when you walk in.

I have been here 3 times because my friends like the ceviche. I give 2 stars because I've gotten sick after eating here twice. My conclusion after trying various items is this: do not order anything except the ceviche (which is mediocre at best). The rest of the menu is insanely overpriced and tastes like cafeteria food. Example: most dishes come with a side of yellow rice and mashed potato which is so stunningly bland and terrible. I ordered the fish tacos once (poorly seasoned and flavorless with tortillas that are basically pulled from a plastic bag and not even grilled) and the bacon wrapped shrimp on another occasion to avoid the fish (they somehow managed to make this disgusting as well). On top of all of this, how does it end up being $25 for 6 bacon wrapped shrimp and one nasty tap watery margarita?I guess the entertainment is what people come here for. The ceviche is decent, but it really isn't anything special! Save yourself the misery and just order a bottled beer and ceviche to be safe!

This place has a great selection of seafood and other Mexican style dishes. Service was great, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the restaurant was clean and inviting. There happened to be some live music the late afternoon I went, which was an added bonus. Plenty of TVs were showing various sports stations. I had the Clamato with dried meat, and it was tasty! I also had the fish tacos which were delicious. Lots of regular choices for kids not into seafood or Mexican. I will definitely be going back.

This restaurant was great. The food has always been delicious however, the prices are a little on the expensive side. I would still recommend this location for authentic Mexican food.
