La Taqueria

Newly opened restaurant in El Paso! We had a great experience here! We were driving around looking for food around 10P on Sunday and only found La Taqueria EP open. Tacos were so flavorful! We ordered al pastor, chorizo, and veggie tacos! And carne asada fries and horchata. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend coming to here and trying it out! Forgot to take pictures because we just ate everything. Delicioso!

caution they have roaches and its unsanitary don't go here save your money and they don't even pay good here

Great Mexican food! Started off with the asada fries. They were awesome! The carne Asada, shrimp and chicken tacos were delicious. Cool atmosphere and very friendly staff! This is a very clean place also.

Passing through El Paso with my husband and 3 kids and we were really hungry. My children can be hard to please sometimes when it comes to food but Mexican food is usually a good choice for us. This place is unassuming and attached to a hotel but the food was DELICIOUS! I had tacos, my husband had a burrito and my kids all had quesadillas. We also ordered horchatas. The chips and salsa were tasty, the red is spicy and the green is mild. The food was fresh, authentic and filled us all up. I highly recommend this spot.

Visiting from N. CA- Husband been craving tacos for 3 days, so we stopped in before heading out for the say. Staff are very friendly, seem super attentive. Husband had the El Pastor, Asada, Tripa, & Chorizo (not his fav this time around, but may just be our CA taste buds not accustomed to the flavors of EP). They satisfied his hankering.I had the Carne Asada burrito. I have no complaints, as it wasn't an elaborate order. Menu does list black beans, but refried beans came in the burrito (which wasn't a big difference for me, just felt it notable). Again, maybe I'm more accustomed to having my burritos CA style (if that makes sense), but this was a bit plain, although had plenty of flavor. Tortillas are made fresh, Asada is flavorful, lettuce, cheese, light beans & rice. I'm sure any tomatoes, guacamole, etc can be added for a small fee (sorry, I didn't bother looking for add-ons). The horchata is fantastic! Not too sweet, nor watery. The chips were hot, tasted so fresh, and are the thick kind (omg, my very fav). The green & red salsa are so good, very fresh.Overall, we'd def visit again based on service alone, but the food is worth our vote for sure. :)

30+ minutes for online order of 5 tacos. When I got home I realized they gave me wrong order. Still ate burrito. Not impressed.

Yikes. This place is so disappointing and disgusting. They don't even deserve one star. They use canned cheese for nachos. Taco meat is more like mystery meat. So many better options in EL Paso. You have been warned.

My new favorite taco spot when I came to EP to visit my family. They have a large menu and are moderately priced! I don't recommend the carne asada fries. Great customer service as well. Overall I will be going back.

service is horrible, they got my order wrong & it also came out 20 minutes before the rest of my tables food arrived. the menu is not detailed so you don't know what you're ordering; ex; the quesadillas & tortas don't show they have guacamole in them. i ordered a barbacoa torta & received a bistec instead. the waiters aren't around for much other than to take your order & cash you out, don't count on them to come around & service you unless you call them over. you're safer only ordering tacos but make sure if you order tripas that you specify whether you want them crispy or not & if you order pastor let them know whether you want pineapple in it or not, the waiter won't ask. i've had one good experience & it's with a male server, he's very attentive but the females do not check in with you at all. i asked for a glass of water & the cup was dirty at the rim & the last time there was something in the water & the bartender said it must be the seasonings used to make the mixed drinks, like it was acceptable. the bus boy is an elderly man & he's very nice but also very intrusive. he just starts taking things before asking if you're finished with it.

Gave me a hard time picking up my order, I told her my name but she wanted to see a confirmation email WITH my name to "confirm" it was me, however the confirmation email didn't have my name. I showed her my confirmation email and she kept insisting that she needed to see my name on it but I was the only customer in there and I saw only ONE order that was ready in the front with MY NAME on it. That to me that's enough confirmation. Anyways I ordered chicken enchiladas which were dry and the rice tasted bland. :/
