La Quinta by Wyndham Las Cruces Organ Mountain

Great place to stay! First the location is excellent! Central to lots of businesses and restaurants, with Cracker Barrel (this one is excellent!!!) directly behind the motel, Walmart (one of the nicest ones I've been to) within walking distance.Check in was easy and fast, nothing out of the ordinary. The lobby is nice and clean, and there is an elevator for access to the upper floors. I did see they have rolling luggage racks available for use which is not something I've seen in budget friendly places, so that was nice to see.The room itself is nice and clean, a small refrigerator and microwave is provided, along with a tv and internet access. One thing I noticed, not only in this motel but many, is the lack of available outlets. Almost all places today provide, by todays standards, what is considered to be basic amenities like WiFi, tv, microwave, etc., but very few provide easy and convenient access to outlets to charge todays electronic devices (phones, tablets, games, etc.) I would love to see this addressed, and anyplace that makes it available earns an extra star just for that!!!The pool (we didn't use it) was being used by quite a few guests and appeared well kept. There is an area for your pets to use, and bags to pickup after them are provided. Yes, it is pet friendly!Parking is adequate, I would say average or maybe slightly better. I am one of those people that will park further out (I dont mind walking) to avoid possible door dings, so any parking that makes it easier to avoid dings is always appreciated. While the parking up front is average, the back does provide parking for buses, vehicles with trailers, etc., so that was nice to see. Parking lot is well lit also.Breakfast is provided but I did not engage in it (slept in lol) so I can't comment on the quality.Overall, a nice place to stay, pet friendly, and reasonably priced. Recommended!

Free Breakfast was simple: waffles. Apple. Bagel. Cereal. Room was clean. Quiet. Unfortunately, the reason I'm giving is such a low rating is there's a homeless encampment to the right of the hotel. There's a lot of crackheads and sketchy people hanging out. On a positive note, it is next to Walmart, Walmart and Subway so if you need to get some things to drink and eat

Staff was great. Room was very clean. Perfect for my needs. Breakfast was full of carbs other than apples. Hoping for a little more. Centrally located for my needs. Would stay again!

In desperate need of an upgrade. Barely made it to the right side of clean. The homeless folks all around the neighborhood cannot be blamed on the hotel but it does make one anxious about leaving the car in the parking lot.

It's a cheap hotel, I didn't expect much. The check in process was easy. The staff was nice. The elevator worked and the stairs are located right beyond them. The elevator is slow and it was easier to use the stairs. The parking was ample and it's actually easier to park in the back. It's conveniently off the highway though.The rooms were okay. It's definitely an older hotel. The bed was comfortable and they provided 3 pillows per bed. The room had a fridge and microwave which is a huge plus. The room was spacious, it was clean and that's what I expect for a cheap(er) hotel. The downsides: the heater/ac was not reliable and kicked the heat on which smelled like something was burning. The walls are thin and you could hear a lot of hallway activity. I still give it 4 stars for the price and my low expectations were exceeded.

Outside hotel appearance was okay. We pre booked but only stayed 1 day for due to the hotel condition. However, when we checked in the hotel looked old and abused. The rooms were not better actual worse as they put fragrances heavily to cover something up. The furnishings and carpets old and dingy. This entire hotel needs to be updated. Picture is the bathroom tub when we first entered and checked the room.

So where do I start, elevator is broke, blood on the bathroom floor or TV not working...Not very impressed with the cleanliness of the place, cigarette burn on the tub, as I mentioned before broken elevator, blood on the bathroom floor and TV that does not work. We are staying in another La Quinta in Dallas, maybe they will redeem themselves01/12/2021I got a message directly from the chain, they would like to help solved the issuesAlso, from the front desk, they said that it was not blood, but the chemicals they use for cleaning, being honest, don't buy it. She also gave us $20 discount on both rooms.They get an A for effort

Terrible. NEVER BOOK HERE AND TELL YOUR FRIENDS. Stained linens, holes in towels, smelly room, broken light switches, no maid service,shabby, worn out,smoke detector missing, broken remote, stale bread and dry cereal breakfast. No yogurt, fruit or hot dish. Management "Sorry our truck was late." Could not care less that I paid for breakfast that was not there.No offer of refund.Worst stay ever considering the cost. Expensive fleabag not up to La Quinta standards.

Make sure you check to see if they actually change your sheets. We just checked in and the bed was gross and there is dog pee behind the door. Normally I use this chain of hotel and do not normally have problems. I'm guessing it is just this location.

Leigh Castro is the G- managerWe had stay the night and woke up with several bites on us. Complain it to assistant general manager and he or she said we got fleas from our dog, I don't have a dog so don't stay there. They are either got fleas bed bug bites or some type of pesticide in there cuz she claim she called echo lab and we was there all the way through and no one showed up so don't believe it. We was in the parking lot. They are filthy bedroom carpenter dirty towels are filthy The food was still in the refrigerator from some other guest. No soaps or shampoos woke up in the morning and had coffee with spoiled cream cheese on my bagel was spoiled. Please Don't stay there if you want to get bit or have spoiled dairy not refrigerated...
