Honestly love this place , my grandfather has taken me since I was a child. I still send the wifey weekly to grab salsa which is some of the best in town and they make it to order.

3.5 StarsI've been coming to El Paso since 2007 and I've stopped at Playita's every time I visit. The food is very authentic and I really enjoy it. They offer complimentary chips and salsa which is always a plus. I'm a huge fan of shrimp cocktails and this place offers a very tasty one. My girlfriend and I shared a small portion which had plenty of big shrimp in a red sauce with lime, avocado, cilantro and onions. It is a great value as is all food on the menu.Their cheese enchiladas are great. The tortillas are soaked in a tasty red sauce and prepared well. I also got the beef tacos which are very fresh. The shell is fried and warm when you get your plate. Since I ordered a combo plate, it included very tasty re-fried beans and Spanish rice. For dessert, we had tres leches that was very tasty. Our waitress was very polite, attentive and made the experience that much better. Great price, great portions and great people. I recommend this place.

One of my fave restaurants. All the entrees I've tried are fresh, delicious and very reasonably priced. All my family loves it. Tacos Suizos are our fave!

I love this place! The barbacoa tacos are always spot on and the baked potato side is so perfectly cooked and tasty they really dont need anything on them! Service is superb and its a convenient location. Great prices too. A win all the way around!

They have the best shrimp cocktal that I have had in El Paso. And the place smells clean. I will for sure come again. One more thing our service was great.

Terrible experience. We ordered a shrimp plate and a 7 Mares soup. The sizzle of the soup was overpriced for the serving size. And to make things worse, there was a piece of plastic found in the soup. We called asking for the manager and the man that answered the phone stated he wasn't sure if the managers name was Jose or Javier. We came to find out that the man that answered the phone is the "cook" by the name Jesus. He stated he had served the soup and there was no plastic. We explained to him we had taken a picture of it. He then asked if we wanted we could return it. His attitude was unprofessional and dismissive. We would NEVER order from there ever again. The quality and service is poor for the price they charged.

the section for the sopa de siete mares was a joke! I called the place after I found a piece of plastic in my tiny serving. the guy (Jose) that took my call denied that there was plastic in it! never apologized and actually hung up on me!!

Red enchiladas here were amazing. ( They tasted exactly like how my grandma would make them which I loved ) Fun and nice workers. Will be back with the family

Wouldn't recommend! Horrible service! It was full that day and they got our orders. After 40 minutes they asked us what we had order because they wanted to check the orders. After 15 minutes later they came and ask us what was our order again. At that point I told them they had taken our order. The waitress said they had lost our order and was going to make a new order. I told her I wasn't going to stay no more. So we left. We waited for almost 1 hour. I'm never going back there again!
