Just spent three nights here and had a great time. We stayed in the cottage, about $200 a night. Rate included natural springs bath time, we did four 30 minute soaks , three days in a row. The water is a godsend, it's fundamentally amazing to do this type of thing in a desert region, during a drought. Respect. It was easy to text message staff and schedule times, I think first time available was 7am, last at 930 or 10pm. The water does not have sulphur content, so no obvious smell. Water is Still noticeably more buoyant due to other mineral content, of which there are more than a dozen. 3 baths were open, and their individual temps varied from about 100 to106 each day we were there. The pools are filled from the spring below, so there is no artificial temperature control, just whatever the weather brings.I used the fridge with $.50 bottled water alot , honor system jar payment.Cell reception was really good (att) , I didn't even try the wifi. But who plays on their phone ,really ,when you just want to relax? Would totally come back sometime.

Issues with the website and very little communication through phone. When I did get someone they were rude. There are some nice places very nearby. Skip this one.

If I could give zero stars I would. Second attempt to stay here and both times staff was prejudice, unfriendly, and despite a sign that says family friendly it's an absolute lie. Dont think about it, if you have kids younger than 7. I do not enjoy waiting for 6 minutes whole you attend to a phone call without even a I'll be right with you.I think your staff should undergo diversity training as well as customer service courses. This is a BIG NO for us.

The "Truth" about La Paloma is that it is everything it's billed to be and more and the "Consequences" are that you will leave with plans to come back sooner rather than later. The staff and management went out of their way to see to my needs but we're not intrusive as this is a place to move slow and let the waters work their magic. Don't miss Andre, the masseur, for my money the best in his field and I am a fan of massages. Stay up late, take a soak then sit outside and take in the view of stars so bright and clear you'll need sunglasses! Thank you La Paloma

This is my favorite place on earth! The water flows into each pool from underground, never touched by plumbing nor heater - it is wonderful. Locals soak here- it isn't all bells and whistles because it's all about the water. Pure magic. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly- they are great resources to teach you about the special properties of the water.Soaks are very affordable there and so are the accommodations if you need them.

An inclusive hot springs with amenities for the budget of everyday people. We valued the quiet focus on the healing waters. We decided at the last minute to stay in a room. The bed was comfortable. The rooms are clean. We recommend the staff bring in electric tea kettles over the microwaves, especially with their belief in living water-not consistent with radiation. The massage therapist,Andre Soele had over 30 years of experience in multiple holistic modalities. So highly skilled! We appreciated the courtyard and chairs to take in the sun! It was also quiet and well maintained. There was only one seeing eye dog on the premise during our stay.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I initially wanted to stay for two days, but you'll fall in love with this quaint little place! It is a hole in the wall place, but the two bath houses, along with the outdoor tubs, will lull you to want to stay longer and return time and again. I tried to extend at the end of my stay, but was only able to extend for one more day; the place is really super booked. There is also plenty to see within walking distance. I enjoyed both Latitude 33 and the Brewery. It's my second time at La Paloma and my second trip to Truth or Consequences, New Mexico. I just left a week ago, but already planning my next stay. I'll book here for a month while I find me a place to live. I'm semi-retired and I can think of only one other place that I want to live, and the other place is the Azores. I'll vacation there while I call Truth or Consequences home. While visiting, make sure and check out Elephant Butte.

Fabulous opportunity to stop off for a refreshing hot mineral springs soak to finish off a most magical holiday! LaPaloma is well maintained with a wonderful vintage feel. Staff is extremely helpful, resourceful, and friendly. Community quiet areas are conducive to slowly re-enter the "other world" as your spirit still slumbers in the comfort of the hot springs. I've tried other hot springs in the area but LaPaloma has a welcoming magnetic aura that keeps me coming back every chance I get!
