I went here a couple of times and found it to be more of a collegiate scene and hangout - great snack palace for the UTEP crowd.Nestled in a small strip mall, it shares a parking lot with a T-Mobile and other stores. They have a mix of snacks. Helote, preparadas, ice cream, shakes, and paletas - among other things. On the two occasions we stopped by we enjoyed their selection of paletas and a fruit licuado. My kids thought it was good. Noah tried their water melon with chamoy paleta on both days. Not too shabby...place for paletas and more near UTEP.

Food/Taste/Flavor: 5/5 - 2 popsicle with the first being an avocado bar dipped in chocolate and covered with nuts (esquimales) and the second being a Gansito which is based on a Mexican snack cake with a strawberry flavored jelly, cream center cake, and chocolate sprinkles and some coating. The avocado one is quite interesting and gets very creamy in the middle. The gansito is extremely sweet but I loved it. Who can turn down an ice cream cake on a stick?!Ambience: n/a - ordered food to go. Lots of Valentine's Day decorations up but clean and neat overall Service: 5/5 - very very friendly and talked us through all the different options and tried her best to explain what everything was since it's all so foreign to us. Gave recommendations and was willing to provide samples for us to try Value for price: 5/5 - delicious dessert, exceptional service, fun to at least try something!

I ordered a large elote. Sadly to say it was cold. It was made all the way to the top as if it was a snow cone, no juice, dry, no butter. I had to go up to the employee and ask if she could add butter which she only added very little. Told her it was fine since I realized it wasn't going to make a difference because it just had no juice and it was cold. She did add a lot of chili like I wanted though. I was just disappointed in everything else. Perhaps if I try it once again I could let the employee know I wanted in juice and hot!!

Traveled to La Michoacana as we made a pit stop in El Paso on our road trip. What drew us initially is the fact this place specializes in Mexican desserts. As we stepped in, we realized we have never even tried most of these desserts so don't be surprised if you know nothing. The menu has a lot of options and there are even some savory options like nachos and Cheetos/doritos bowls. I got a popsicle with strawberry creama flavoring for $3. I enjoyed it and I don't have much to complain about. The real strawberries used was a nice touch aesthetically but also taste wise. The milk tasted creamy and wasn't overly sweet. Didn't know if I should give it 5 stars since my friends thought their desserts were just okay. I tried the spicy mango one and liked the flavor even though it's very different than what most Americans would expect from a dessert. These desserts are tasty and come at a relatively cheap price but not everyone will be able to appreciate the flavor profiles. As someone who is more adventurous, I welcome even the flavors that don't make sense to me.

Maybe it's just the night shift or them being new but omg they moved all SO SLOW like the sloth from zootopia. Mind you it was 3 girls and they all only worked if the other two weren't working or when they finish with one thing they would talk before helping out the guest or even getting the other part of the order cuz they'd only do one thing at a time. You had 3 things to order they did them one. At. A. Time. We had 2 people infront of us and it took 45 mins, the family that had just got their food when we got there finished and stayed talking by the time we barely got up to order. And these orders weren't hard. It was an agua, ice cream, and tostielotes, the second guy got two tosits. And then our order. Mind you they dropped ice cream and left it there the entire time, one of the girls dropped an elote starred at it for like 5 mins and then picked it up and packaged it for the order, went up to the girl behind us asked her if she was ordering or picking up when she said ordering she said oh okay and stood there for 2 mins before even doing anything and going back to another order. Mind you she kept spilling the aguas and used the same towel that was used to clean the table and used it to clean a cup, so tbh for food truck/ street food it shouldn't take that long for 9 things.
