La Michoacana Rodel

There's several Michoacána style ice cream stores in El Paso. Not all are affiliated with each other but they look similar. This one is a small shopping center. The store looks tired and needs TLC. There's old tape on the glass door, the chairs are flimsy and the tables are wobbly. The service is fine. The kitchen area looks clean and neat and the food we've bought has been pretty good. This location has paletas, which are homemade Mexican style popsicles. You can order them with different styles with chamoy and gummy worms or have it dipped in chocolate. There's also agua frescas and different Mexican style snacks called antojitos. The one feature this location has that others do not is the drive thru.
