Great food, very friendly staff. The food is very good from breakfast to dinner. They serve both American and Mexican food. Best pancakes in Silver City! This is a mom and pop place that makes you feel at home. The chef delivers the meal to you when he can. It's kind of hard to find, but worth the effort! Like most Silver City places it has swamp cooling so this time of year can be a little warm. They make you feel at home the minute you walk in the door. They have Salvadorian coffee and all kinds of fun ice cream treats for the road.

Disappointment diner. Ok the prices were high. I am willing to pay not a big deal, if the food is good I will fork out the dollars! Well the owners my best guess is they are married. The obviously newly hired employee was getting yelled at by the Mr and Mrs. The bosses were frustrating and confusing the new guy. He would tell the male employee how he wanted the job done then the Mrs would come along and snap at the poor guy to do it differently. I felt for the guy. Then by the time I got my plate it was sloppy and served by a frustrated waitress which I could understand by who she was working for and all. But the food hardly matched up to the price. If that place lasts much longer I will be amazed! I won't go back . It didn't even offer peacefully dining with the loud owners contradicting each other and yelling at the employees.

Super friendly waitstaff, reasonably priced and delicious food. I ordered the chicken fajitas and they did not disappoint. Hubby ordered the sopapillas and he recommends getting the shredded beef. New favorite place in Silver City.

Food was not great. The chips are from a bag the salsa was hot with little flavor. Most everything was spicy with little flavor. I got the stuffed sopapilla with chicken and chicken was very dry. The deep fried ice cream was so bad that my kid didn't even eat it.

in spite of it's name, La Mexicana has the best Salvadoran food in New Mexico. Fresh handmade arepas made to order, and none of the grease that I've come to expect with arepas and (New) Mexican in NM. The burgers and Mexican food (check out the menudo on Sundays!) are great too. Family run & very friendly. You can tell that much love and care goes into this place.

Food is actually tasty but the service is very slow. It seems like the owner is the only person that operates the register so in 3 separate instances, we waited 10+ minutes to pay our bill.
