La Margarita

Typical Mexican restaurant, nothing too fancy but the service was wonderful. Came with the whole family, 9 people, and the level of patience the servers had with us was incredible! The chips and salsa were so good, the chips weren't oily or too salty and the salsa had a nice kick to it. Food tasted as if it was homemade. The star of the show, easily, was the Sopapilla with ice cream!

After years of being a patron, me and my wife were severely disappointed in the total experience, from the cheese dip, service, quality of food,and the increase in price. Campo Azul comes highly recommend.

Nice little family type of restaurant. Good food and friendly service too. The beef Tacos Chihuahua were amazing, glad I picked that dish, my wife had a combo plate with enchiladas and a taco which she really enjoyed. We have only one regret, La Margarite is in Texas and we live several states away.We never had to wait on refills, and everybody was playing things safe. I noted how quickly the staff cleaned each table once the customers left, they were taking no chances with our safety and this was comforting. Any time I'm in town, this place will be on the menu.

We sat for an hour and a half and didn't even get our food. We finally went up to someone after multiple tables got their food after they were sat after us. They blamed a 20 top table for the whole thing. We pointed out one table that got their food after we were waiting an hour and they said they are not even paying for their food. So we will never be back and unless you want a horrible experience don't go here either. I have to give one star to post but they don't even deserve that!

So I was told that this place was the bomb. It bimb alright. Wasn't that impress with the place. Food was decent, nothing to really right home about. Had their steak ranchero, they asked how I like my steak, doesn't matter cause it comes out well done. The enchiladas that came with it was hmm on the salty side. Asked for all rice and it came out with beans. Didn't finish my dinner, cause well it wasn't all that. I get better M divan food in Houston.

Awesome place that is family owned by a great family. The food is always delicious no matter what you order. Handles large party very well.

I was in town on business and was recommended La Margarita for dinner. Small hole in the wall place but let me tell you the salsa and guacamole is delicious. I had the La Margarita plate for dinner and was not disappointed, believe me my plate was clean by the time I was done with my meal. I will definitely be back the next time I am in Odessa.

The food is really good and the margaritas are wine base but also very good!. Very quaint little place.

Best food in our area. Queso is so good and stringy. Incredible service. Most of the time the music isn't too loud. It's nice to be able to have conversations with the people at your table without blaring music.

Wow!!!!! A quaint and authentic Mexican restaurant minutes off of Interstate 20! The staff was great!!!! And the food portions were over the top - you won't leave hungry! My husband ordered beef fajita nachos - wow! Covered with cheese and jalapeños- and a scoop of delicious guacamole on each end of the plate! I ordered brisket tacos (recommended by waitress) and the plate was so so yummy! And the salsa..... omg definitely made in the kitchen! We brought home enough for supper! Plus the waitress was kind enough to bring a Togo container for the salsa!!!! La Margarita is filled with pictures of locals and write ups from different publications!!!! You MUST stop in - it's only a couple of minutes off I20!!!When we were leaving the owner stopped and talked to us like we had known her for years and this was our first visit!!! It won't be our last!!!!And one final comment - when you notice abuelas vomiting and out - YOU KNOW IT MUST HE AUTHENTIC!!!!!Good Price!!!!
