Fantastic little riverside park. Beautiful view of the Rio Grande .No swimming signs everywhere yet people were swimming. Great for a picnic or just enjoying the view. Very relaxing.

Can we have one of these in El Paso?!? Please!!!I'm always telling people that I want to swim in the Rio Grande and then I stumbled upon this park and saw my dream come to fruition. Families swimming and couples kayaking in the Rio Grande! Best. Day. Ever. This park is pretty neat too. There's a small playground that seems well maintained and a trail that goes for miles following the Rio Grande. There are also fire pits placed strategically throughout this park on the river bank. And grass...grasssssssss galore! And frogs! The only reason I'm docking a store is because of the storm of mosquitoes. I grew up near water, but I've never walked into a cloud of mosquitoes. Bug spray is a necessity.

During Christmas, the river and grass are all dried up. The park is by the noisey Highway 70. From the parking lot to the playground and picnic tables, I need to walk underneath the freeway, which takes the zen out of this place. I probably need to check this place out during the summer, which is like the monsoon season.
