La Gorda

My colleague brought some gorditas from this place to work. She shared a piece of hers with me (I refused to order one because lots of restaurant food upsets my stomach) but it was so delicious that i stopped on my way home and got one for myself. The staff was friendly and greeted me as i walked in. There was another table there. The place was relatively clean, didn't smell of fabuloso lol and i enjoyed my rajas and beans gordita.

Alright lets get some things straight! This is not the Gordibuena...this is LA GORDA! Having their 20th anniversary this is still the one spot we go to for burritos/gorditas de harina/quesadillas/tortas and some Menudo on the weekends ever since Crisostomo decided to just not be the same as before (plus increase their prices) I am not one to look down on a mexican food place that charges the right amount for their food, I for one thing that most mexican food is undervalued as far as cost goes but then again that's a topic for another time. La Gorda has everything you need for a delicious morning start. From their awesome guisados that you can take to go easily in a burrito or gordita form, or their mexican breakfast plates that will satisfy any hunger. Their chicharron en verde is consistently delicious and their buttered bread tortas are to die for. You getting a quesadilla? Add a guisado to it and watch it increase the deliciousness tenfold. Come to La Gorda, or go to their eastside location, get a gorda pack, an ice cold Coke and have yourself a wonderful meal!

3 cars in front of me in drive trough and i was there for 45 MINUTES bro i have no clue why i waited there so long do not come but it sucks because food is delicious

El menudo no tiene sabor y esta muy grasoso. No lo recomiendo! El menudo fue para llevar.
