La Chimenea is truly a hidden gem nestled on Mesa and Executive, adjacent to the Block. It's a lunchtime paradise--fast, great service, and incredibly amicable staff. The prices are budget-friendly, offering generous portions of flavorful dishes. The complimentary "caldo" served alongside the meal stole the show; it was my absolute favorite! Though I shy away from spicy food (Puertorrican here), the caldo had a hint of spice that added to its allure--absolutely delicious! Highly recommend this spot for a satisfying meal experience.

I'm just gonna say this is my favorite Mexican place because the food quality. I've never gotten anything bad here and I've been eating here for over a year almost daily. There's no liquor or beer wine but if you want really good Mexican food, this is the bomb.

We enjoyed a proper Mexican taco and enchiladas meal here while exploring El Paso. I don't claim to be an expert but my Al Pastor tacos were plentiful and very tasty. My relative had enchilada with green sauce and they also were well received. Life is good with Mexican food!

Salsas are the best. Love their fried tacos. Their tortilla soup and caldo de res are flavorful and really hit the spot. All the food I have tried is amazing and reasonably priced. Dine in or take out. This has become my new favorite spot for Mexican food. Pay them a visit next time you're on the west side of town. Not open on Sundays which is my only complaint.

La Chimenea is the new ownership and renamed Old Town Mexican Kitchen, a small cozy little cafe nestled in a quiet strip center. So far I have only gone there for burritos. Everything Ive tried so far has been excellent. Many others have come and gone from this location. I hope they make it. It's nice to have a good diner in walking distance from my house. New owners are upbeat and energetic. Lunch time is always packed.

99% of the food I buy here it's to go but guess what they've got Menudo every day got great huevos rancheros and also huevos con chorizo and I love the Chile Relleano burritos the food is very good
