We were looking for something authentic, off the beaten path and unique. We definitely found it here at La Casita. This is in a rather remote area, on a mountain with one heck of a view.Right when we walked in, we knew we made the right decision to come here for dinner. This is a family owned joint and it's filled with warmth and hospitality that I usually find in someone's home.I had what was probably one the best chile relleno I've ever had. My wife had a enchilada that was really spectacular. Our bill was about $35 and we were stuffed.I love this place and I'll dream about it until we come back.

My husband and I took Redington Road as a Sunday drive last week and ended up in San Manuel. We has planned on going to Benson for lunch but didn't want to backtrack the forty-plus miles to get back there. Once my wifi came back, I looked up restaurants and thought this one sounded good. It was the perfect choice. My husband had a combo platter with an enchilada and taco, and I had the bowl of red chile. Delicious. Fantastic flavor, not too spicy, thick, meaty and absolutely delicious. I would definitely recommend checking La Casita out if you happen to be in the area and hungry, especially if you have a hankering for some delicious, authentic, affordable Mexican food. Yum.

La Casita is a great little Mexican Food restaurant in San Manuel. Now San Manuel is a small town and there aren't a lot of options when it comes to dining out. Being in town on business, I asked a clerk at the convenience store down the road a bit where the locals eat and she told me La Casita. She was right. The place wasn't super busy during lunch, but we were there around 2 pm. There were about a half dozen other patrons there and they all knew the waitress and each other. Even the local ambulance crew was there. The food was decent Mexican food. I had a combination plate with a red chili and bean burrito, a beef taco, and cheese enchilada along with an iced tea and it was all less than $10. I'd give them an extra star if I could for the fact that I got a 32 oz to-go cup for my iced tea! We actually ate there twice while doing our field work in the area and I would recommend it to anyone.

I ate breakfast here for the first time yesterday based on the suggestion of locals. I wasn't disappointed! I had their breakfast burrito loaded with sausage, potatoes and cheese. It was tasty but not very spicy. I used their salsa in a squeeze ketchup container to add the necessary heat and it was a satisfying meal for a nice price. The staff was friendly and kept the chips coming. The restaurant was clean, bright and had a welcoming feel to it. I would definitely eat here again!

I ate here on several occasions while working in the area. Was good but not great. Their machaca was my favorite thing on the menu. I didn't care for their sour cream or guacamole.
