I can't believe it's taken me so long to write a review. We've been coming here for six months and the good and service has been great! I used to come here years ago (different owners) and it was so so. The new owners (the last four years) have made it my favorite place for Chinese food. The servings are huge and the food is always delicious. Their hot and sour soup is a must. I have hubby get it when I'm fighting a cold. It's that good. The prices are more than fair seeing we usually take a huge to go box full of food home. The take out business is busy and folks come in all through the dinner service to bring their food home. Just a great place to eat.

So I ordered delivery thru Uber Eats for this meal because I was traveling, it had been almost 9 hours on the road and I had gotten my room and just could not bring myself to go back out to get food. I had no issues ordering, I got their special fried rice which had bbq pork. Chicken beef and shrimp, the smallest egg drop soup they offered which was a 16oz and an egg roll. It was about $29 total but ended up being $41 plus a tip for the driver so wow that's a lot to pay for some Chinese food in Midland Texas. But it's not all on the Restaurant. It came just as the app promised in 25-40 minutes I have no issues with that. I had request in the notes section a SPOON for the soup as I was in a hotel and had no utensils and I paid for extra beef in the rice as many reviewers said they had and it made it better. And I asked for extra soy sauce. So it came in a styrofoam clamshell container. Not stuffed in those little white Chinese Togo boxes with pictures of Chinese things in red on the sides... good! I like this better and it doesn't clump the rice! The soup container was a nice semi-clear container suitable for keeping if you wanted after. Oh and I also order wonton strips, apparently they don't automatically come with the soup here like they do at every single other Chinese place I've ever been to in my LIFE. And they weren't strips. They were cut into tortilla style triangles. Odd. But interesting. The rice was not good. It was over cooked. Or freshly cooked and had not had time to properly cool and then was stir fried and it just was sticking together. Or it's been sitting in a steam table all day and just over steamed. There were a few peas and carrots in it but the poor peas were shriveled up like your fingers after all day at the pool. The carrots were mush. There was plenty of beef but it was not nice little tender square pieces it was long stringy thin chewy cuts of I don't know what. The chicken was so tough you could not chew it. The BBQ Pork were chunks of what appeared to be pork loin chop chunks. They were hard like bullets. They were the typical red in one side of each square piece but honestly it added no flavor to that meat. There are just 3 large butterflied tail off and also WAY over cooked Shrimp in this combination fried rice. I was expecting a lot more than 3 for the price. I picked out the beef and the shrimp used the 2 squeeze packs of soy sauce the sent and really I trashed the rest of that rice. The soup... I never got a Spoon. They sent me 2 forks to eat with. Even after I specifically asked for one . So I called down to the front desk and they had some plastic ones they have for Breakfast Service, so I went down and got one so I could eat. The soup was a good consistency but had a "powdery" weird feel to it on your tongue like something didn't completely dissolve. So that was off putting And I just only ate very little of it because it was just not appetizing. The egg roll was the HIGHLIGHT of the meal. It was a nice size, very crispy on the outside, a great balance of pork and cabbage etc inside. I devoured it. It came with a little cup of that red sweet and sour sauce, but it was not that nice thick sweet and sour you're used to at other places, this was completely watery. And had not much sweet or sour flavor. In fact it was like it had been the regular sweet and sour sauce and someone watered it down on purpose and ruined it. So I don't know, If you like egg rolls, maybe go here or maybe they do other dishes better but their meat cuts are bad, way over cooked or stop long on a steam table waiting to be ordered. and every thing I had was just not good. My fried rice was not freshly wok fried with fresh ingredients when ordered, this was evident. And it was a lot of money for really bad food.

We stopped here for a late dinner. The waitress was very polite and engaging. The decor was nest to look at from the fish tank to the special lighting and ceiling tiles. We were served fried wonton with sweet and sour sauce. We ordered the chicken dumplings for appetizer they were great. For main course we decided with the orange chicken and moo goo chicken one with steamed rice and one with fried rice. When the orange chicken came out it was served with jalapeños in it. We had never seen it this way. Needless to say we should of taken our waitress up on lessening the spice on this dish. While the flavor was good it was just too over thr top with the heat level. The moo goo was very good and we both enjoyed our rices. We did take to go boxes and for lunch the next day she did almost finish that orange chicken. The total came to $42.36 + tip

The low rating reflects old ownership. Great spot/updates/food. Reasonable prices and attentive service. Kid friendly.

With our friend's recommendation, we finally ordered a take out order in store. Food came out so quick which took like 10 mins for three entrees and appetizers. Food still tasted good and hot when we got home. Kids enjoyed their rice noodles and we loved our spicy general tso chicken! Definitely will be back and would love to dine in next time!

Chicken was old hard and half was so over cooked it was burnt. The sweet and sour sauce is completely watered down from what it used to be back before new owners this place is a no go!

Amazing food! Friendly staff! My husband is a picky eater and they were willing to personalize his meal. Very fair pricing for quality and amount of food.
