Koze Teppan Grill

Yes this is better than sushiito in downtown do not fall for the hype . This is authentic and the chef is from japan thats how you know is good ! Everything was delicious high quality fish . I love the place .

This place is a must go to!! Sooo delicious and the teppan and sushi were both phenomenal and I had absolutely no complaints walking out of there. The inside is nicely decorated as well, makes a great spot for a date night, family nigh, and etc. Any and all occasions is a must.

We were lucky enough to get in without a reservation at the grill. Our server was great and attentive, always checking in on us. Our chef was okay, he was not as entertaining or experienced as the other ones I was watching - he seemed pretty new and he spilled our sauces and dropped some of my steak on the table when plating our food. With how expensive the meal was, I was a little disappointed that part of my steak fell onto the table. Other than that, I got the filet mignon and scallop combo. The portion sizes are HUGE and everything had great flavorful.

Cool and trendy Japanese restaurant listening to let's dance from David Bowie and some cool lounge music a la Buddha bar. Okay, this is great music. The Tepan Grill are in plane actions. Time for some Macho sushi and some squid salad. Service was really smooth and pleasant. The food is consistently good and it is also opened on Sunday!!!

As many times I have been here, surprised that I never left a review. The meals are great as well as the service. You can choose l your order as its cooked over the grill in front of you, sushi, eggrolls, or another selection on the menu. The food is very healthy as well.Make sure you come with an appetite since it can be a lot of food for one person. Then the chefs are very good as they spend time practicing their cooking skills. It is always a good show. You may have to make reservations since the restaurant is packed.

We loved Koze! We're from the east coast and have had trouble being land locked. We have been looking for sushi and finally found it! It's expensive sushi for sure. My one roll was $18 but it was delicious. My boyfriend got the ny strip hibachi plate and ate every last bite. The ginger salad and soup is really good. What you have to get here is the spicy tuna crispy rice skewers!!!! So good. Such a splurge. We like this place a lot but don't get confused it's NOT cheap. Our meal was $90

This is a super late review but it was absolutely necessary to share my family's great experience here. We went for my Dad's birthday dinner on the 16th. Our party of 9 was seated in a timely manner and the waiter was friendly and made some good suggestions of sake. We ordered some sushi rolls and salad for appetizers then we all ordered teppan meals. The chef was very entertaining and kept us laughing and all the food was delicious. I will definitely eat here again.

Excellent service and delicious food. We did not sit at the grill this time but instead opted for quick table service to enjoy sushi for the adults and hibachi for the kids. Everyone left happy.

The food was decent overall. We opted for hibachi at a regular table for more privacy. The portion sizes were generous, but the vegetables in the hibachi were slightly undercooked and could have used more time on the grill. The chicken was a bit tough, and the beef, which we requested medium rare, arrived well done. The avocado eggrolls were also tough and dry.On a positive note, the tempura veggies were excellent--crispy and served in a large portion.The service was okay, but my first cocktail took quite a while to arrive and wasn't delivered until we were already halfway through our appetizers.

PSA EL PASOANS!! We celebrated my birthday last night with a party of 10. We sat at the grill. Every single one of us, including my 19th month old son got food poisoning immediately after our meal. We all had chicken, steak, shrimp, scallops, fried rice, soup and salad. What a horrible experience. Unfortunately, it was only after we found out Koze failed their inspection with a score of 64. Look it up if you don't believe me. You've been warned.
