This park is beautiful and well maintained. I came here to look for birds. On the water I saw various ducks like Northern Shovelers, Mallards, Green-winged Teals, Buffleheads, Ruddy Ducks, a Pied-billed Grebe and a good amount of American Coots. There was an American Kestrel on the wire and a black phoebe in the trees. Some Verdins and a Ruby-crowned Kinglet were dancing around the front entrance. They have multiple observation points and blinds which were very helpful to get some good views. The trails were all easy to walk on and well defined. Overall a great place that I would come back to next time I'm in the area.

We busted the garden during early open. The grounds were very well maintained and super beautiful. We like the signage around with all the info and loved that we were able to venture into the wetland area. The garden is dog friendly and offered pet waste areas.

Tucked amidst the hustle and bustle of a busy city. We went during late winter and it was charming in its own way. I bet this place is spectacular during spring and early summer. Definitely will come back to do more photo shoots during the summer.

Very beautiful mini detour. Approximately 30-45 minutes walk around the entire garden with cactus, flowers, and many other plants.

We had our wedding here. It was lovely, and the wedding coordinator was great in working with us on the price and our schedule. There was plenty of space for about 100 people and we had the ceremony in front of the fountain, with the dinner and dancing under the gazebo. Excellent price and if you want an outdoor venue with AC in the restroom, this is your place! You can drink alcohol as security is included in the rental price for a wedding w/reception. There's a back gate where catering can be delivered. Clean up is your responsibility but with planning it's no big deal. I love El Paso and this is about as natural desert a setting as you can get and still be a garden. The gardens are beautiful in spring! Go check it out on a weekend or have an event here, you'll like it.

Its pretty and good for photoshoots.Just be aware if you have kids make sure you have to attend your kids all the time, they have several cactuses that can easily hurt your kids. And bring mosquito repellant.

I love this place. Small scenic and great for kids. Wonderful mosaics decorate the ponds, and the maze is fun for young kids, without being scary.

A confusing place. The main entry area is very pretty as another yelped said but It is the size of a large courtyard and is small for an arboretum. It's very nice even though it's small. But the rest of the place that extends out of the main area really shouldn't even be open to the public. It's a path, a dirt winding path on a large area with nothing to view. Nothing, Nada, nil. There is some benches strayed here or there, random gazebo but nothing really fits into a cohesive unit so I don't know why it is there for viewing when it really looks like a barely started project that was abandoned .Cost is 3 dollars to get in, 2 for kids , seniors, and military.

What a lovely garden to walk around in. It's so peaceful. My favorite is the little koi pond with a waterfall and water lillies. Bring cash for the entry fee/ donation at the entrance. This botanical garden is completely taken care of by volunteers.

Wonderful, knowledgeable folks that run this place. It's so nice to just wander the grounds and check out the classes offered to the community, including things for kids! I've seen the sign on Doniphan but never imagined what was back there as far as plant paths, a pond with various birds (including seagulls!), and mock historical scenes to learn about as you walk about. It is a perfect split-decision solution for why to do after work on a Monday to wind down by yourself or a Saturday event with the family. Really impressed!
