We recently visited with our friends because we've been drinking the wine here for years. We thought it would be the same experience as what we remembered, but we were wrong. The wine tastes like it got oxidized or overheated. Almost like maybe it's been through a second fermentation. It tasted like it was turning into a port. We tried several different varietals and they tasted pretty much the same. If this is on purpose, then I apologize for this review. We expressed our concern to the hostess, and she was unwilling to help us or refund our money or have us try another bottle. We will not be coming back until they get this figured out.

It's a nice tasting room, but I wasn't a fan of the wine. It's all very big and ripe. Raisiny, stewed. The petite sirah tasted just like a port - the alcohol was off the charts. This was my first time trying Arizona wine so I thought it was all like this until I went to Coronado up the road, which had much more palatable wines.

Awesome tasting room. We stopped in on our way to New Mexico and did the wine tasting. Victoria was our host. She was great very knowledgeable and very friendly after our tasting we bought 8 bottles. If your in the Wilcox area and you enjoy wine you should really stop in for a tasting.

Too corporate. I felt like my wallet was all they saw. Only one gal seemed to be working and was overwhelmed with the almost full room. The wine was mediocre. We bought only one bottle there. I am used to a relaxing, knowledgeable, friendly experience. This was not it. Walk down to where the three wineries are in one room (Strive, Copper Horse, Golden Rule) It was an amazing experience there! We came home with two cases.

Had a nice wine tasting experience here. They actually had the cheapest wine tasting of the day but you didn't get as many tastes and the pours were a little steep. I really enjoyed their grenache, it def was my favorite of their offerings. They had a very nice little quaint patio in the back that we were able to bring some of our own food and enjoy a glass of their wine. Would recommend checking them out!

This is my second visit to Keeling Schaefer and truly have enjoyed the tasting room, ambiance and the back patio. The gentleman than is the host is a gem and wonderful to speak to and very knowledgeable about the various tastings and descriptions. I think the price point of the wines are perfect and they have some excellent options. My only gripe was their credit card machine wasn't working so I had to pay in cash, was a little bit ofa wait ... would have been nice to have a tasting comped since I was purchasing some bottles ofwine.

Came to Willcox specifically to check out Keeling Schaefer Vineyards tasting room with our Amazon Local deal. The tasting room is inviting and artsy and our deal got us a tasting for two which included 4 tastes each, 2 wine glasses to keep and a bottle to take home. Our hostess wasn't particularly enthusiastic and perhaps her lack of, influenced our opinions but we didn't find anything in the tasting that was worth purchasing. Of the wines available for tasting, M and I agreed that the 2012 Rock Creek Rose was the best however it was not available to take home as our free bottle. We ended up selecting the 2009 Farmers Rhone Blend which was pretty decent.Keeling Schaefer doesn't do sweet wines which is fine by me since I'm not particularly fond of them myself, however they serve a variety of Kokopelli sweet wines in their tastings for those patrons who enjoy a sweeter wine.

Went here on 6/11. Overall decent experience. The atmosphere was nice; cute tasting room. The girl pouring the wine was very nice and friendly. The wine was good. But I was very unhappy that they were not doing the $10 wine tasting and keeping your glass promo. They knocked off $2 so the tasting was only $8 but I really wanted the glass. The girl could have made an exception but she didn't. I felt a little irritated especially since I was being friendly with her and hinting that I really liked the glass, hoping she'd let me buy it in the promo. That decision had an impact on her tip. It was only me in there at the time and she said there were about 6 boxes. Not her fault but ownership should be on top of ordering these glasses. I drove all the way from Phoenix so a bit disappointing. Not really a town I will visit often as there's not much to do here other than wine taste but I can go to Cottonwood for tasting rooms which is a lot closer. If I make it back to Willcox, not sure if I'd come back. May try the other tasting rooms instead.

We enjoyed the wines, and the amounts were generous. For a tasting of 4 wines we stood around trying to make conversation while we got thru the choice. By #3 and 4 we retreated to the couch to enjoy the choices.I don't do a lot of wine tasting but was surprised there was no procedure to clean the glass between, and no hint of a cracker or other palate cleansing available, or offer of a pencil to keep track of your choices.
