Juanita the Burrito Lady

The line moves fast. This day she only had one kind of burrito. Green chili, potato, beef. Still only $3 each, cash only, and a great value. Flavor was on point with a mild/medium spice level. The only criticism which there isn't anything she can do about it is the texture of everything is on the soft side. The burritos are all in an insulated cooler keeping each other plenty warm, but they are wrapped in foil so no way to get them crispy. If only you could drop these in an air fryer for 5 minutes to crisp. She has an assortment of drinks I passed on. She happily sends you off with burritos and blessings from God. Skip the train food and grab some burritos.

$3 for a delicious and warm burrito! She had three kinds available: potato and ground beef, brisket and refried beans, and refried beans and cheese. Burritos are individually wrapped but don't come with napkins FYI. She also has bottled water. It's a short stop so do your part by having your cash ready and exact change if possible.

The Amtrak crew announces that she's here selling burritos when the train arrives in El Paso. They say you'll know where to go by looking for the crowd. She sells burritos out of a couple of coolers, and they are $3 each. She had bean & cheese and briscut and bean today, along with bottles of water. It's the fasest moving line for burritos I've ever seen. They are not huge, but they are delicious. One makes a good snack. I'd suggest two for a full dinner. I bought one even though I'm in a sleeper and get dinner. The crew gets included dinner, and they buy them too. Highly recommend part of a stop in El Paso.

$3 burritos quickly turned into just three little foil balls, sad face. The green chili is slightly zingier than red. Bean and cheese, beef and potato, pork options. Juanita is a sweetie petitey, and her burritos beat Aramark aboard in every way. Was lucky she showed up after the train attendants announced she would be there on platform- with recent schedule changes to the Sunset Limited and Texas Eagle, the train beat her to the platform, but she had a long line of hungry lovers in no time.

Burritos were great. Wrapped well and did not open up while eating which is important when on the train. Had what I think was bean and cheese and a bean and beef. Both were good.

Wonderful person with delicious burritos, ten feet from your Amtrak car. We had both her bean & cheese and the chili, beef & potatoes burritos and they were both great, especially when you're having a bit of both!

Delicious and well made burritos. Juanita is very clean and passionate about her hot food. Best brisket burritos in town for $3!!
