Johnny's Barbecue

Johnny's has changed just in a few months. Went yesterday to get my pregnant wife some good ol' brisket because that's what she was craving and ended up disappointed by the price and amount of food 16.77 for a one meat BBQ plate OMG! Since when?? I know times is tough but remember the people in the community who been helping keep the doors open. Need a lot more love on those plate if your going to continue to charge that amount is all I'm saying.

I had 2 meat plate, brisket, German sausage, potato casserole, green beans, pecsn pie. The spicy bbq sauce on the side, just enough hot if you like spicy.Came in about 3, easy order and check out.

The food is awesome the staff is great and it's worth going back to I would recommend it to anyone who enjoys barbecue are fried catfish

good Brisket .. very expensive Friendly people ......................Not many others are better ..Rise BarBQ is good quality too

6/30/24 grandson and I each orderd ribs brisket plates. No flavor tasteless except for the sauce meat is not seasoned and ribs tasted boiled not smoked would not recommend . Very good pie price for 2 plates over &40.00 with drinks brisket is the same will not return

I'm done with this place. It was pretty good in the beginning and has gradually gone downhill. We got our order to go. They are quick to get your order, so that's why they got a 2 star rating. The sliced bbq had so much fat/gristle, that you couldn't even chew it. I had to throw it away. For the chopped bbq, they chop it so fine that you can't hold it on the bun because it all falls off and it doesn't really taste like bbq. They also asked if I wanted the pickles, onions and jalapeños on the side, and only gave one (and it was sparse). We also only got one bbq sauce.The man that waited on me, acted like I was ignorant for asking a question... not a fan of that disrespect.

Just stopped in for the first time in years. Had the brisket & potato salad for lunch. The brisket was spot on and very delicious. Definitely will be back. Allen has it going in the right direction.

Sliced lean brisket sandwich- a lil on the high $ but isn't everything....we'll worth the price .. good meat bought xtra sandwich & ate 1/2 next day the other 1/2 on 2nd day was still good.

Stopped in Saturday while I was on that side of town to grab a quick lunch and wasn't disappointed. Food was fresh and hot. The brisket was smoked right in point and all the sides were fresh. Friendly service, clean restrooms. Good eats. Don't get all three things around this area like that very often. I also thought for a BBQ joint dinner was really priced to low. Don't think I have pie below $20 for a 2 meat plate with sides I. A long time

My husband and I love this place! Our favorite is the all you can eat ribs. However, my husband is now in a wheelchair. Getting him wheeled inside is so difficult, we had to stop coming to this place.
