My boyfriend and I have had some pretty rough rental experiences in the past, so it was so refreshing to finally find some folks that make a point of taking care of their tenants. We live in some of their townhouses in the University area, and the units are wonderful, and appear to be generally well-maintained. The management team is always easy to get a hold of and make a point of communicating with their tenants on upcoming scheduled maintenance via printed flyers left on the door (so you can't miss it!). Maintenance always happens in a prompt manner (just make sure you get your requests in early, as maintenance is only available in the morning). And Tres, the maintenance guy is a nice fellow. In the three years that we have lived here, the only real issue that we've had with maintenance was when our air conditioner went out on a weekend at the height of summer. If there is an emergency maintenance number, we were unable to find it on their website or elsewhere. We finally replaced the pump ourselves (it was unbearably hot), and on Monday they told us they would deduct the amount spent on the pump from our rent. We were fine with that arrangement. The online payment portal is easy to use, and we've never had any issues with neighbors. I highly recommend renting from this company. We have not been disappointed. I'm not sure how they are in the fairness of dealing with refunding deposits, but if it is similar to the other treatment we have received, then I don't think we have anything to worry about.
