Jimmy's RV Repair

I initially arrived at Jimmy's RV service needing to replace the city water connection check-valve fitting on my 2022 Arctic Fox 22G. Jimmy had the part and the sealing gasket putty tape required to secure the fittings and three bolts to my RV. With his instruction, I replaced the fitting, and all was well.As I collected his knowledge about replacing the fitting, we discussed how I planned to install airbags on my current vehicle; he suggested I bring my RV to him to see if I needed to realign my sway bar.As we talked, he noticed my hitch sitting in the rear of my vehicle, and he recognized I did not have enough washers. He suggested I let him look at my setup, and I may be able to cancel the airbag purchase.He corrected the problem by realigning my sway bar, and after checking the batteries, I replaced both of my Deecycle AGM with new ones from his business.As a full-time RV'er, I was honored and grateful to meet and interact with Jimmy of Jimmiy's RV service. Every customer seeks a respectable, warm-hearted personality with extensive RV knowledge.Stopping at Jimmy's will become my annual maintenance stop on my way west toward my winter snowbird desert camping.

My horse trailer sheared a wheel off at the junction turning from the hatch cut off limped down the road to Jimmy's they had us back on the road in an hour and a half!!!

I had a leak in my RV bathroom and when I arrived in Deming, I had multiple people recommend Jimmy's. I arrived early the next morning and Jimmy fixed it right away. Granted, it was an easy fix, but he didn't ask me to wait and didn't ask me to pay. You just don't find many RV repair shops like this one! A word of caution: If you need a repair that is more complicated than my simple repair, you will probably have to schedule it out days in advance. This shop is super busy, no doubt due to their level of high competence and reputation for honesty.

We stopped in Deming for gas around 7pm last night and noticed a busted leaf spring and our fifth wheel was leaning like crazy! Not even sure how long we had driven that way all shops were closed so we drove the half mile to Jimmy's RV repair and parked across from the building overnight, went over at 8AM when they opened. Jimmy was very nice, gave me an estimate and got us right in, we went to have breakfast at Wagon Wheel Cafe (delicious btw!) and by the time we got back they were done! Very affordable, only about $15 more than his estimate and we were back on the road by 10AM! Would absolutely recommend!

I broke a spring on my boat trailer passing through on the 10. Jimmy went above and beyond to help get me a replacement spring, I got it installed, and I was on the road in no time. They're honest, fair and solid people to do business with. 10 stars.

I had a major problem with my electrical/battery system with my RV as I was traveling through Deming NM. I called Jimmy and he squeezed me in the same day. He quickly diagnosed the problem (bad transfer switch) and had the new part in stock. I also had new AGM batteries installed and was back on the road the next morning. He and his mechanic explained everything up front and charged me a fair price for materials and labor. All RVers know the stress that comes with breakdowns when traveling and the service Jimmy provided minimized that factor and made the rest of the trip enjoyable.

Have Been Calling JIMMY's All Day Friday Sept 29, 2023 ,Since 8AM It Is Now 6:13 PM No One Has Answered The Phone !!!!!!or Had A Recorded Message As To Why !Left A 1Star Rating Only Because Rating Would Not Post Unless You Left A Rating And There Was No Negative Numbers !!!!

Stopped while on a road trip for possible electrical problem. John diagnosed it immediately and it didn't even require a repair. He also noticed a problem with our hitch system and made an appointment for us later in the week, while we were still in the area. Fixed us right up and even took the time to give us suggestions for adventures in the area. All around great service and friendly, attentive staff.

We were traveling through Deming and needed someone to look at our air conditioning unit that had not been working properly. We were on a tight schedule, and Jimmy was very accommodating in giving us some help right away. He checked the system thoroughly and also noticed our water heater compartment was coming loose. He took the time to completely repair this. He charged us very reasonably and offered extremely reliable and courteous service. We were so impressed!

We are getting ready to get back on the road with our fifth wheel when we discovered our bedroom slide would not move. We call Jimmy's RV repair in Deming and he talked us through a few things which did not work and then said to come on in so he could take a look at it. We drove over there and they immediately got to work hour and a half later and just $100 are slide is now working they found the cause, they repaired it and we are back on the road. The two guys Jimmy and one of his employees were great. I must say I have not seen a garage so clean I would definitely recommend this RV repair shop.
