I grew up having birria on special events. Birria is a spicy stewish soup made of shredded lamb that has been simmered for hours. With that said, I know a good birria. This place has some that did not disappoint. The sauce to add to the broth is really spicy which is a must. I had mine to go so the cilantro and onion were added in the birria. In retrospect I should have asked for it on the side because they serve it really hot and it cooked the onion and cilanteo. They serve it so hot that I still had to blow on it to cool it after the 25 minute drive home. I would love to try their tacos. The service was a bit of a wait but nothing I minded too much. It's pretty affordable. I paid less than $10 for a large container. It was pretty filling. Thanks for bringing my good memories of birria back.

I am determined to try every quesabirria in El Paso and I just wasn't that impressed with this location. It was very small and unimpressive inside. The cashier made a comment about me not being from the area and not knowing what I was trying to order. The food was OK but I wasn't exactly impressed. The prices were good for the amount but the consommé for the birria just didn't have the flavor I wanted

Delicious birria and chicken tacos are served here! Where have you been all of my life, Jaramillo's Birrieria?? I also received excellent service. I think I was working with the owner directly. I love when that happens because they always know their stuff (which they should). They typically go above and beyond with service and food, too. He knew the menu like the back of his hand. It was my first time at Jaramillo's so I was asking him questions. I especially wanted to know about his birria tacos. Typically, authentic birria (stew) is made with lamb or goat meat. A lot of places in El Paso make it with beef, which is fine with me. Come here if you want the real (and tasty) deal. It's right next to the Workforce Center building (unemployment) on North Loop in a strip mall. Not sure how I missed it in the past because it's also a couple of doors down from Jefita's Tamales. I've been there a few times. They have pretty good tamales at Jefita's BTW. Anyway...I forgot to ask which type of birria he was giving me. I don't think it was beef but I could be wrong. Whatever kind of meat it was...it was delicious! It was so juicy and tender...mouth watering really! I ordered the quesabirria tacos. The tacos were drenched in muenster cheese and meat. Aww man! It was like heaven on earth! The tacos were delicious and made to perfection. I asked the ladies who were putting them together not to add onions and they didn't. My bf doesn't like birria as much as chicken so I got him chicken tacos. These tacos were excellent too. They were crunchy and the meat was juicy. They gave us plenty of red salsa (which was super hot just the way I like it), guacamole and sour cream. The consume (taco dip) for the quesabirria tacos was excellent too. It was packed with a lot of flavor. It didn't have meat in it which I would've liked. No biggie though! I got a limonada agua fresca and it was delicious too. It tasted fresh and had some lime pulp in there. Perfect! It had just the right amount of sweetness and sourness in it. All staff was wearing masks and they are required to enter. Jaramillo's isn't offering dine in at this time, only carryout. They come and bring it to your car when the order is ready. I will be back and probably sooner rather than later. We are so lucky to have many great taco joints in El Paso. This has got to be one of my favorites...easily in the top five. Highly recommend! :) Bring out of town guests here or just bring yourself here! The food was $21 and change. For the quality of it, I think it's fine. You get four tacos with each order and a little salad. My bf's had rice but mine didn't. They are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

I need to stop coming here, the food is making me fat & happy. Amazingly, delicious and affordable. The gentleman working at the front was nice. Due to COVID-19 the dining area is closed, only open for take out. I had a big order so I waited in my car for about 20 minutes until it was brought out to my car. I did call ahead to place an order but nobody answered, I assumed they were busy. Will definitely be coming back

My wife and son just stopped by to have lunch ( 3/01/25) . our family has been to this business quite often. Today, my wife order two glasses of jamaica, and since my son is a little sick, she ordered the two jamaicas without ice, but since the jamaica was a little to sweet, my wife asked for a little ice, well, this request caused an annoy look from the owner, a look like she was asking for something out of the ordinary, like for special treatment!!!! NEEDLESS TO SAY, WE WILL NEVER PATRONIZE THIS PLACE EVER AGAIN.. that's not a way to treat your repeat customers.. Heard some stories from the waiters about the way HE treats his employees, but, since the food is decent I did not pay too much attention to their comments. ONCE AGAIN, NO WAY TO TREAT YOUR PAYING CUSTOMERS, AND WILL NEVER SPEND A SINGLE DOLLAR AT THIS PLACE

Prepared my food quickly, but since we are in unfortunate circumstances, you have to make the tacos on your own. They're not seen as the typical posts you would see. BIG BUMMER!
