Great "thrift" store in the heart of TorC. My girlfriend and i have frequented this store 3 times in the last few days while visiting T or C. The owner is super friendly and helpful. She has some very nice antique and one of a kind pieces here. You won't be shopping for mass produced items here. I saw an amazing wall-size dream catcher for sale here. You will also find a very decent book selection here and there are books by local authors featured here. She is also has a nice collection of boots here and all sorts of little trinkets that will take you back into a time warp. I truly enjoyed browsing here and would love to visit this place again when I am in T or C. Great thrift store and won't give you the Goodwill cringe feeling. Definitely stop by this place when you're in town!

My boyfriend and I happened upon this place and loved it. She has quite the good selection and the store is organized and clean. January had also just received some donated books and let my boyfriend and I go through and pick some out to keep because she didn't have the space to keep them all. We witnessed her turn away a customer because she had a dog with her, but she did so in a kind manner. Unfortunately, the customer was rude and stormed off saying hurtful words. I see that there are other negative reviews because of her rules, but I assume they're in place because of the expensive valuables in the store. I don't necessarily agree with not allowing children in the store - I would just like to think she has a good reason. All in all, I had a good experience. Thank you!

This place is HORRIBLE! The owner was beyond rude when she saw that we had our little boy with us. I was carrying him and he was asleep in my arms. She took one look at him and belched, "no children! I don't even want to deal with him!" I was shocked! I retorted, "fine, no business" which is unfortunate for her because my wife and I were ready to spend some money on our little shopping vacation. We also scout for the film industry here in NM and they are always in need of vintage/antique shops for sets/wardrobe but we'll be letting the union and industry buyers know to completely avoid this place. If you appreciate decency and wish to spend your money at a business in T or C, I highly suggest heading to one of the other antique and vintage stores around town. This place is one to avoid.

I agree this women January is rude and does not tell the truth. The store is closed now foe a few reasons. She says cannot stand the cheap people in T or C and especially when they cannot read no children or food in her store. Only one star because I could not put zero.

I have mixed feelings about this store. Although I have found a couple of really great deals. I hesitate to go because there's this giant drawing of a completely naked lady, full frontal, hanging up on the wall. It's so big you can't miss it. The older woman that works the store is pleasant enough and was very helpful with my purchase. Those who find her sign no children no pets no food offensive please try to understand she is allergic to animals and to have children in a store like that where there are so many breakables I can understand her not wanting children running around. And as far as food goes, I wouldn't want food in my store having to clean up crumbs that would attract bugs. All in all if I'm looking for a special antique item that I cannot find anywhere else in a brick-and-mortar store or online I might go here to look.
