IMI Tire Service and Diesel Repair

What an adventure, we had a tire blow at the junction of I-10 and I-20. We called them at noon and they said they are 45 miles away, they had our tire and would be there in an hour. After 1.5 hours we called to find out what time they would be getting there. Their response was we are on the way and will be there shortly. Another half an hour goes by and I call again, they tell me they are now 26 miles away. They finally show after 2.5 hours, they commence to take the bad tire off the rim and put the good tire on the rim. They try to start their air compressor, it doesn't start and they look at us and ask us if we have any gas in our truck. They didn't have any fuel in their compressor, are you kidding me!!! So they say that their is a gas station about 3 miles away, they will go there and get some gas. They are gone for at least 45 mins before we call to find out what is going on. Had a problem with the tire we had to take off and put the other tire on. So finally after over 3.5 hours they put the tire on and we are on our way. This is just my experience and I would not call them again!!!!Here is an update on the $280 tire that they provided us(it was $318 but they didn't take a credit card so that's all the cash we had) We drove into El Paso and parked our trailer, the next morning we got to the trailer and the tire they gave us was flat. We went to a tire shop to get air and the tire shop said that this tire is no good and we ended up having to buy another tire. That's my experience with this company, I would never use these crooks again!!

stay away no good sold me a $300 tier that last 3 dyas. dont wast your money the worst in van horn area

We had a blow out in I 10 we went to IMI truck service They replace 2 tires and a seal on the outside of the axle wishes at $3 seal plus maybe a $50 labor They ended up charging me $500 for that repair they are out of control worst business I have been to In my career this is called highway robbery I would never go back to this shop I'll rather drive all the way down To El Paso
